This is a wonderful weekend retreat just around the solstice, which is always a wonderful time to come together and practice. The perfect way to relax and have time for yourself, to deepen your yoga practice with grounding and space. Florence House is a wonderful setting at Seaford Head - perfect for cliff-top walks and sea swimming. The food is amazing, the accommodation is really lovely, and of course, you get loads of yoga thrown in. This retreat is simply not to be missed. Khadine has 20 years of yoga teaching experience so you will benefit from this deep dive into the practice, philosophy, and experience of yoga.
Each of the rooms in Florence House is individually decorated to create a calm and simple space for you to enjoy a great night’s sleep free from TV or radio distractions.
There are choices of rooms from singles to triples based on your needs. All bedrooms have lovely scenic views either of the Downs or the Estate. The House provides the perfect base to explore the Southdowns and Coastline and is within walking distance of Seaford Head and its magnificent sea views.
The beautiful interior of the house itself, the abundant garden, the proximity to the sea, and the wildness of the Downs, make Florence House a much-loved venue for life-enhancing workshops and retreats. In essence, it lovingly embraces divine inspiration, the good and meaningful things of life, the sacredness and potential of each individual, and the healing power of the landscape in which it sits.
The walled garden provides a peaceful place for meditation or inner reflection. Florence House stands within its own private grounds so there is no one to disturb their program.
Yoga with Khadine will be returning to Florence House for the 10th time. With exclusive occupancy, they can create their mood and atmosphere. The weekend will be packed full of yoga in the wonderful spacious yoga room, and meditation and mantra in the evenings in a most beautiful yurt.
The timetable for the weekend allows you to fully immerse in yoga but with some spaces to walk, swim, or just enjoy relaxing either outside in the gardens or inside in the cozy and spacious communal sitting areas (with wood burners in the winter for extra coziness). Of course, it is your retreat so if you feel the need to skip a session that's entirely up to you.
Food is a delicious vegetarian/vegan menu that is wholesome, tasty, and plentiful. Accommodation is an option of shared twin rooms, triple rooms, or single supplements. The bedrooms and bedding are all very comfortable and spacious and there are a few rooms with ensuites.
Participants will receive a welcome goody bag on arrival.
Please take note that the schedule is subject to minor changes, and no part of the schedule is compulsory.
