35-hours Yoga and Bodywork Immersion in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Join Daphne for a unique 6-day immersion, uncovering healing techniques through yoga, alignment & biomechanics, somatic movement, hands-on assist techniques, bodywork modalities, combined with yoga philosophy and mindfulness techniques including pranayama, kriya and meditation. This will be a 35-hour immersion retreat for those who would like to deepen their practice and gain insights into the mind-body connection. Once completed, you will be able to apply these tools for teaching yoga, living and healing.

This retreat will be held at Maladhara Resort - a eco-adobe retreat center consisting of luxurious adobe mud villas, salt water pools, friendly farm animals, and flanked by rolling hills and rice padi fields.

Yoga with Daphne Thailand Yoga Retreat Program

This retreat is a one-of-a-kind yoga immersion that integrates the exploration of asanas to honor each individual's optimal blueprint within the inner and outer body. It is an insightful approach to harnessing yoga as a therapeutic tool to understand alignment and your own unique body. You will enjoy a perfect blend of yoga and bodywork healing to delve deeper into awareness and your subconscious, to uncover habits and patterns, so as to create new neural pathways and greater awareness on life itself. You will have an overview of classical yoga philosophy and how they can be applied in our modern lifestyle, practice mindfulness through breathwork, meditation, and Yoga Nidra, learn basic bodywork or massage techniques in releasing tension within the body, and enjoy a festival of the heart that promises to rejuvenate and transform the body, mind, and spirit. A Yoga Alliance accredited certificate will be awarded upon completion for further credit to a Yoga Alliance RYS 200 TTC certification or Continued Education Units (CEU) for yoga teachers. For those interested in cranial sacral and yoga massage therapy sessions with Daphne, they are also available upon request.

A certificate of 35-hours immersion will be awarded upon completion for further credit to a Yoga Alliance RYS 200 certification or Continuing Education Units (CEU) for yoga teachers.

As a yoga therapist, movement facilitator and bodyworker of various modalities, Daphne infuses her practice into the alchemy of her intuitive bodywork and yoga therapy. Daphne incorporates a heart-centered approach with a solid foundation in biomechanics, breath work, somatic practices, and embodiment. She also melds insights from yoga philosophy, neuroscience, and subtle anatomy within her practice. Her therapy sessions, classes, workshops, and trainings are known to focus on breath, mindfulness, and awareness to create the moment-to-moment balance in nurturing the body, mind, and spirit.

Retreat location

The training will be held at Maladhara Resort, in Doi Saket district, around 25 kilometers east of Chiang Mai old city. The beautiful adobe Eco retreat venue is flanked by mountain views and rice padi fields, with luxurious accommodation, an outdoor salt water pool, a herbal steam sauna, yoga salas, and Kin Dee ~ a gorgeous restaurant serving wholesome veggie meals.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Chiang Mai is easily reached via an increasing number of direct international flights and over a dozen daily one-hour flights from Bangkok. Please book your flight to arrive at Chiang Mai Airport (CNX). For airport or city transfers, please be sure to send an inquiry to Daphne for more information.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 51% of the total price.
  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 7 days before the arrival date.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
