Practice daily yoga and eat beautiful nutritious food, restoring your energy and calming your mind. Feel the sun of Sri Lanka in their crystalline waters beaches. This retreat is open to all levels of yoga experience. There are also optional trips to practice surf, visit ancient sites and cities, or simply relax in the pool with a Ceylon tea.

Accommodation for this retreat is in beautiful bungalows, surrounded by coconut palms, monkeys, exotic fauna, a garden, and lovely swimming pool.

The yoga and activities in this retreat offers you an access to deeper connection with the different dimensions of your being. Creating a safe place for you to relax, renew, and restore your energy. This deep work will support you to get in contact with your body and listen to it. Moving forward in your life, bringing into light the things are not aligned with your heart, allowing you to start creating new supportive and healthy habits. You will leave the retreat with new tools to use in your daily life and a deeper knowledge of yourself, allowing you to step into your power and taking responsibility for what you manifest in your life.

All the retreats of Alicia and Didier are in nature and include yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, reconnection with nature, recapitulation, offering to the earth, shamanic sound bath, holistic therapy, one to one guidance, healthy food, and plenty of time for reflection and resting. They create different themes for each retreat and aim to have small groups so we can give more personalized attention.

Alicia and Didier's intention is to support people in their life to create healthy and supportive patterns and ways of being that are aligned with their heart and the eternal universal laws of nature by respecting and honoring oneself and the planet.

Typical day at the retreat

  • 07:00 Pranayama practice (breathing exercises)
  • 08:00 Asana practice (Vinyasa yoga and dynamic yoga)
  • 10:00 Healthy delicious breakfast
  • Afternoon is free for one complimentary 60-minute holistic therapy with Didier or a trip to the stunning beaches, tea plantation, local towns, ancient cities, or relaxing next to the pool.

    British Wheel of Yoga (Hatha Yoga)

    Alicia has been teaching since 2010. Her fascination with yoga and living in connection with the heart and nature is growing day by day. She has a very deep connection to shamanism and she works on a regular basis with Ali Calderwood and Daniela Broder known by Anima, supporting their amazing energy. She also works with Yogateam providing private yoga classes in London. Alicia is a fun and calm teacher. She has an advance 500-hour yoga teacher training and she is fully insured with British Wheel of Yoga to teach Hatha, Vinyasa yoga, Ashtanga, Gentle yoga, and yoga for children.

  • Didier Fernandes

    Didier Fernandes was born in France. At the age of 15 years old, he moved to Northern Portugal where he experienced a wider contact with nature and a simpler form of living. He left his hometown in Portugal to work as a nurse. While working with cancer patients, he understood the importance of helping people to connect with themselves and to find their own voices in the world. Didier became interested in a more holistic approach to health. He studied many different techniques. This brought him to travel to different sacred places in the world.

The retreat will be held in Villa My Way Resort. Find yourself and heal your body, mind, and spirit in the experience of the yoga and meditation in this unique property overlooking the rain forest, just 10 minutes to the white beach of the Indian Ocean and 30 minutes from Galle Fort.

You will be receiving two free delicious buffet brunch and dinner, afternoon tea with soup, healthy sweet or fruits, and all day filter water and teas during this retreat.

You may take a trip to the stunning beaches, tea plantation, local towns, or ancient cities. On Wednesday, you may take the whole day for an optional trip, to the stunning ancient rock fortress Sigiriya, located in the central Matale district, near of the town Dambulla, in the central province. These visits can be arranged at an extra cost.
