The all-inclusive accommodation is at the peaceful abode of the Yoga White Lotus center. Elevated on the hills of Lennox Head (15 minutes south of Byron Bay), this beautiful location overlooks the valley and expansive views of the coastline and natural parks. Amongst tranquil surrounds, in a space with natural light filtered through bamboo, it offers a natural and peaceful surrounding for the practice of yoga.

This luxurious sanctuary provides light filled rooms in twin share or dorm style share for maximum of up to 3 people. The rooms include a shared bathroom facility.

During your stay, you can enjoy a rejuvenating dip in the divine mineral saltwater pool and relax on the extensive balcony that wraps around the center to give a perfect view of the green valley below and the glorious ocean beyond. The open kitchen and dining area provides space for you to relax and enjoy the expansive views.

This weekend yoga retreat is offered so that you can enjoy and fully immerse in the experience of yoga, meditation, wholesome food and all the facets of yoga daily. During the 3 days, you will live yoga as a lifestyle. You will receive instructions so that your yoga practice can continue at home.

Madhava lived 6 years at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in London. He has taught in several of International Sivananda yoga teachers' training courses (TTC) in Europe. At the London ashram he taught weeklong residential courses in yoga anatomy and regular courses in meditation, vegetarian cooking, yoga philosophy and daily yoga classes and workshops.


Shyamala lived as full time voluntary staff in the Sivananda Ashram in London for two years. Whilst working to deepen her yoga practice in all aspects, she taught once or twice daily - yoga classes, pregnancy yoga, yoga courses, meditation and yoga philosophy.

The weekend yoga retreat takes place in two of the most beautiful and spiritually uplifting parts of Australia, Byron Bay and Lennox Head. A mystical sacred land charged with uplifting spiritual vibrations used in the past by Aboriginals for rituals that still continue to draw an eclectic mix of modern day spiritual seekers.

Accommodation, yoga classes and workshops will take place at Yoga White Lotus center in Lennox Head. Daily excursions to some of the most beautiful and sacred spots in Byron Bay are usually a highlight of the retreats.

As an important part of the yogic lifestyle, a yogic vegetarian diet also supports the yoga practice. The meals are specifically scheduled and prepared to support the bodys natural rhythm for the digestion of food. The meals provide complete nutritional requirements for the healthy functioning of body and mind. Prepared with loving awareness the meals are always wholesome, unexpectedly tantalizing to the eyes and especially the taste buds, it is full of flavor and color. The retreaters have found meal times to be particularly something to look forward to. Special dietary requirements are catered for.
