Discover your mind through various meditation and breathing techniques as a tool to clarify the questions and relations between mind and body and between outside and inside! During this Kundalini meditation retreat, you will receive the uniquely and self-invented meditation techniques of Yogi Ramabuddha as well as traditional meditation techniques, which will give you an overview and the basic understanding of meditation.
Yoga Village's forest huts are 150 meters from the beach in the cool shade of palm trees with beautiful open large space and access onto the creek palm gardens around with a small vegetarian cafe and a health bakery, massage offering, yoga classes, and meditation courses in the hall next to the huts. All huts have an attached bathroom, double bed, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, and charging plug points for laptops and mobile phones.
Kundalini, the symbol of the serpent power, is used in many religions in so many different names. But what is behind this word? How will one discover this energy through meditation and breathing?
"If you have seen a serpent standing on his tail, you will be surprised because a serpent has no bones. Standing on his tail is a miracle, because there are no bones, so how is he supporting himself? Ordinarily, the serpent is always sitting or resting, with his body in the form of a circle. That is the meaning of Kundalini. Kundalini means circular and concentric circles. That is the ordinary situation of everybody’s inner energy, it is in a circular way sleeping or resting," according to Osho.
"Kundalini means the serpent lying there fast asleep; it has to be awakened through meditation. Once it wakes up, it starts rising upwards. When it reaches to the ultimate center of your being - Sahasrar - the last center, the last rung of the ladder, you have arrived home."
Ramabuddha is famous for his uncommon approach to helping people open to themselves in a new and genuine way. He knows that it is not possible for an effort to bring you to a real meditative state. It is relaxation in the moment that you must discover. If it cannot be found in the moment, it cannot be found anywhere. This approach is the path of mysticism, the awakening to the eternal flower. His focus is not on a certain technique. In fact, the technique may change at different stages of the process.
The Yoga Village main center in Goa is located right on the beautiful beach of Arambol in Goa, surrounded by tall coconut palm trees and overlooking the vivid blue waters of the Indian Ocean, it is just a footstep from the sandy beach. Situated around 50 kilometers north of Panaji, Arambol has one of the most charming beaches of Goa. Arambol has a distinctly Bohemian feel which is no longer found in other areas such as Calangute and this inevitably attracts many alternative travelers.
Currently, no major hotels exist in this area due to local pressure. Huts are available at reasonable rates. Arambol Beach is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa among many other popular locations. A short walk north off the main beach is a smaller beach with a fresh water lake close to the sea. The water here is a mixture of fresh water and sea water.
You will be provided with daily yogic and vegetarian meals.
Yoga Village is offering massage sessions in Chinese acupressure massage, foot massage, and cupping therapy. Their certified massage therapist, Khando from Tibet, gives treatment at the center in Goa and Dharamsala.
Please book your flight to arrive at Goa International Airport (GOI). There is a prepaid taxi stand in front of the airport. It's safe and the prices are fixed to all beaches in Goa. The approximate distance between Arambol Beach to Goa International Airport (GOI) is 63 kilometers. The taxi will take around two hours time to reach Arambol Beach. Approximate cost of prepaid taxi is around 1300 INR.
Frequent buses run every half hour from Mapusa bus stand for a 32-kilometer journey between Mapusa and Arambol Beach. It will take around 30 minutes or so to reach Arambol bus stand which is 10 minutes' walking distance from Yoga Village
There are also plenty of private bus companies running into Goa City from Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Mangalore, and many other interstate cities. Buses for Mumbai City depart from Panaji, Margao, and Mapusa on a daily basis. Approximate distance from Panjim City to Arambol Beach is 50 kilometers.
Goa railway stations include Pernem, ten kilometers from Arambol Beach, and Thivim railway station, 35 kilometers from Arambol Beach. Mapusa is the best station to reach northern Goa beaches.
