The rooms are typically shared between two people in the towns. During the trekking activities, the accommodation option will be camping.

Day 1

After being collected from the airport and taken to a local Kathmandu guesthouse, you will head out for a local Nepali dinner with the group. Only one meal is included for the day.

Day 2

The day will start with a morning yoga session to help you energize and fight off the jet lag. This will prepare you for a day of volunteering at a Nepali school. You can choose between painting and teaching English. Only one meal is included for the day.

Day 3

You will enjoy a morning yoga session followed by a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu with a local guide, who will walk you through the history and culture of this amazing place. You will have free time for shopping in the local markets. Only one meal is included for the day.

Day 4

You will enjoy a scenic journey to the yoga retreat center and begin preparing for the trekking activities.

Day 5

The trek will begin in Nayapul. This will be a short and relatively easy day which will allow you to become used to the experience of trekking in Nepal. You will stop at some local villages along the way and do a little gentle yoga.

Day 6

You will begin your journey with a steep climb to Ulleri, a large Magar village at 2,070 meters. After tackling a steep, stone-stair climb, the trail ascends more gently through fine forests of oak and rhododendron towards Banthanti.

Day 7

Today, you will trek towards Nangethanti through the forest. After a little rest, you will walk to Ghorepani, which is a very interesting village with small shops selling local products and crafts.

Day 8

Early in the morning, you will start your hike to Poon Hill with an elevation of 3,210 meters. If the weather is clear, you will see a brilliant spectacle as this vantage point provides superb views of the sunrise over the high Himalayas, Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri, and Fish Tail mountain ranges.

Day 9

The day will involve a gentle trek through beautiful green scenery until you arrive in Little Paradise, a family-owned tea house with gorgeous open gardens. Everything there is grown organically and the property sits between two mountains, offering stunning views over the valley.

Day 10

Today will be your last day of trekking. On the descent, you will pass through Gurung village and have lunch there. By evening, you will return to the yoga retreat center.

Day 11

The day will be full of yoga, meditation, and wellness activities. You will also have a leisure time to relax in the garden, explore the area, or swim in the outdoor pool. There will also be vegan meals, herbal tea, and snacks provided by the excellent Nepali chef.

Day 12

This day is the second day of your yoga retreat program. You will enjoy guided relaxation and visualization. There will be various yoga classes and wellness activities throughout the day. There will also be vegan meals, herbal tea, and snacks provided by the excellent Nepali chef.

Day 13

This day, you will bid farewell to the beautiful Pokhara and return to Kathmandu by bus. There, you will have time to do more sightseeing and purchase any local souvenirs or crafts. In the evening, you will have a fun farewell dinner and exchange your insights from the tour. You can also enjoy meditation and wellness activities.

Day 14

For your last day, you can enjoy meditation and wellness activities. Later on, you will be dropped off at the airport to continue your journey or fly home.

Yoga, meditation, and wellness activities schedule

In the morning, the meditation varies from day to day between Japa meditation, inner sounds, Antar Mouna, Mantra meditation, Breath meditation, and Silent meditation. You can also enjoy jala neti, a yogic nasal cleansing with a neti pot. Morning yoga varies from pranayama and dynamic Hatha yoga to static asanas.

Among the morning wellness activities, you will find aromatherapy steam bath, mud bath, Himalayan pink salt foot bath, aromatherapy steam inhalation, and self-massage. In the mornings, you will also enjoy a yogic breakfast, as well as herbal tea.

In the afternoon, you will practice Nada yoga, a sound immersion with gongs, ancient singing bowls, bells, and ocean drums, as well as Bhakti yoga, with chanting and Kirtan. You will also have a yogic lunch, herbal tea, snacks, and leisure time to rest, relax, read, or explore the area.

In the evenings, yoga sessions will mix dynamic Hatha with elements of flow power, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa. There will also be yoga Nidra sessions, with guided relaxation and visualization, and silent meditation in the yoga hall with the powerful Mahamitreonjaya Mantra.

This retreat will take place mainly in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal.

In Nepal, you will mostly be eating Nepali food which is closely related to Indian food. During the trek and yoga retreat days, healthy and delicious vegetarian or vegan meals will be prepared for you each day. For the other days, there will only be one meal at local restaurants.
