On this tour of Thailand, you will visit the beating heart of the country, Bangkok, as well as stay at a private yoga sanctuary in Kanchanaburi, on the breathtaking Srinakarin Lake. You will also have the chance to relax on the beautiful beaches of the legendary island of Koh Phangan. Yoga classes guided by some of the most renowned teachers in the country, delicious Thai cuisine, and a host of adventurous activities will accompany through your journey in this stunning country.
In Bangkok, you will be staying at a guesthouse. In the second part of the holiday, you will stay at a private yoga sanctuary on the breathtaking Srinakarin Lake, just an hour from Kanchanaburi. In the last part of the tour, you will stay on Koh Phangan Island. All rooms are typically shared between two people for the whole journey.
Your retreat will begin in Bangkok. After a long journey to Asia, you will finally get to meet the Yoga Tours Asia crew and other members of the group to connect over a delicious vegetarian Thai meal.
To fight off the jetlag, you will have a morning yoga session with one of the delightful teachers. You can also enjoy an optional Epsom salt float tank session or a Thai oil massage. After having lunch in the city, you will have some free time for shopping or resting.
In the afternoon, you will cruise down the city's famous Chao Phraya River. You will stop at Wat Arun temple before arriving at the famous backpacker hangout Khaosan Road for dinner, drinks, and people watching.
Brunch will be followed by a morning yoga session. Shortly afterwards, you will leave the city to travel to a private yoga sanctuary on the breathtaking Srinakarin Lake, an hour outside of Kanchanaburi. You will arrive in time for dinner and spend the evening sitting around a campfire talking and gazing at the stars.
After waking up with coffee or tea, you will enjoy morning yoga sessions. There will be healthy homemade meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as free time to explore the area or ride the dirt bikes, quad bikes, or jet skis.
Afternoons will be spent relaxing in hammocks, learning more about yourself during meditation workshops. Each day will finish as you watch the sun set and practice yoga on the grass.
After recharging for a few days, it will be time to continue the journey. You will have one last morning yoga session on Srinakarin Lake, followed by a big breakfast and one last moment of free time to close your time on the lake in whichever way you please.
You will travel by private minivan to the airport to take your flight to Surat Thani. Later, you will take a ferry through the Gulf of Thailand to the legendary island of Koh Phangan, your home for the next few days.
This part of the tour is all about embracing the moment. There is so much to love about Koh Phangan. Days can be spent relaxing on the beach, sunbathing, reading, playing games, or swimming. You will do yoga classes in various yoga shalas and on yoga platforms overlooking the ocean.
After a wonderful trip, it will be time to travel back to Bangkok, where you will enjoy one final yoga session, an Ayurvedic treatment, and one last dinner as a group. Your accommodation for the night is covered.
After having breakfast with the group, you will say your goodbyes and begin the journey back home.

Thai food is among some of the best in the world. You will get to taste a wide variety of spicy soups and salads of the north, stir-fried dishes from the central area, and fresh seafood from the south. There will also be plenty of opportunities to try the local street food. During your stay at the retreat in Kanchanaburi, all meals will be included, and one meal will be provided daily in Bangkok and Koh Phangan.
Upon arrival at Bangkok, there will be an opportunity to get an Epsom salt float tank session or a Thai oil massage at an additional cost.
Please book your flight to arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Yoga Tours Asia will pick you up from the airport.
