Awaba Retreat offers a range of single and shared rooms. It also has a swimming pool, a spa, a fully dedicated and equipped on-site yoga studio, as well as walking trails through the surrounding natural bush.

Yoga is a philosophical approach to life lived within a practical framework of working with the body and mind every day to gain clarity and awareness. The practice of the physical postures (asana) imparts flexibility, stamina, and endurance, balance, concentration, and clarity. Most importantly, for 21st-century living, it greatly reduces physical tension and mental stress.

Based on sound physiological principles, the regular practice of yoga keeps the joints loose and mobile. It keeps muscles strong and relaxed, tones the internal organs and glands, boosts circulation of blood and with it, oxygen, and does all this without expending energy, but building it.

By releasing contracted muscles and emotional tension, a yoga practice can liberate vast resources of physical energy. Aside from moving the body into poses, a yoga practice often employs a simple, rhythmical breathing technique that revitalizes the body and refreshes the mind.

This retreat is suitable for all levels. It commences on Friday at 2 p.m. and concludes on Sunday at 4 p.m. The program includes daily yoga, meditation, and pranayama.

    %Romina is the director of Yoga To Go Studio and has been practicing yoga since the early 90s. She enjoys teaching a wide cross section of the community, ranging from teenagers to adults and local community groups.

This retreat will take place at Awaba Retreat, located just 90 kilometers north of Sydney in Palmdale, New South Wales. It is set on 22 acres of land surrounded by gardens and natural bushlands.

Delicious, fresh, and healthy vegetarian meals will be provided using locally sourced seasonal organic produce where possible. The meals will be prepared daily on-site. Individual dietary requirements can also be arranged. Please advise when making your booking.
