"Yoga, Sailing, Adventure, & Relaxation discovering Croatia"

I loved being on the boat. I joined mainly for the sailing, even though I am a yoga teacher myself. I wanted to experience true sailing....but not much wind. My skipper Bali was outstanding- warm, kind, patient, answered every sailing question with grace and knowledge. I just love life at sea and bonding with new friends on board. I liked the casual atmosphere on our family boat. All staff was so kind and helpful.

"Fantastic yoga and sailing holiday in beautiful Croatia!"

I had a fantastic time with Yoga Sailing Holidays in Croatia! We got to practice yoga in some cool locations, exploring with the islands and being led through restorative flow to balance the day by our wonderful instructor, Melissa. We visited really niche spots for swimming and SUP in turquoise waters and having lunch on the water; all the meals were beautifully prepared for by our hostess, Olivia, with a variety of dishes through breakfast and lunch, plus good coffee!

Our skipper, Marko, is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet and shared some great stories from his travels and knowledge of Croatian history through the region. I'm not sure on my favourite island stop, probably Vis or Korčula, but each destination seemed better than the previous and it was a great taster of what Croatia has to offer. I also really enjoyed being ‘shown the ropes’ to help with mooring the yacht and assisting with the sails. This was a unique experience and so many laughs with a group of like-minded travellers, I’m glad I went with Yoga Sailing Holidays.

"Une bonne découverte de la combinaison Yoga et sailing"

Le voyage itinérant de port en port et des endroits fabuleux en contact avec la nature.

La bonne ambiance instaurée par le skypper qui nous a donné des bons tuyaux pour faire des activités sur les plages libres.

Yoga Sailing Holidays

I have to say, I’ve never heard of “Yoga and Sailing” before, so I thought I’d try it. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but right from the moment we arrived at the marina I knew we were in for a good week. We were welcomed with a big smile and glass of champagne, so I knew we made the right decision. Everything was done at a relaxed pace, the meals were just heavenly, I don’t know anything about sailing so I left that to the men, while I read my book and improved my tan. The holiday ticked all the boxes because we got away from the crowds, we were docked in a new island every day, so we got to see a lot of Croatia, we had amazing weather, swam in the clear water, made new friends and had amazing food on the boat and in the traditional restaurants. I can’t recommend the trip enough, so if you’re thinking about doing it, hurry up and book!

What can I say apart from wow? Everything was just heaven. We sailed from Split (Croatia) to our first port with a glass of wine and the sun on our face. In the mornings we had sunrise meditation, followed by the most amazing yoga session with Melanie. Each day we sailed to postcard-perfect bays, had lunch which our amazing hostess made for us as we were swimming, then headed into our port for the night. I don’t sail, but I loved every minute of it, with the lapping of the water against the boat, the breeze in my hair, and the sun kissing my face. Don’t get me started on the local food and wine. Take me back. For anyone considering the trip, just do it. The locals are friendly and the crew are attentive to your every need.

I went more for the sailing and not so much the yoga. Not to be a spoil-sport, I participated in the meditation and yoga and I think I’ve been converted. I found calm with the meditation and the yoga really made me feel amazing. Whether you sail or not, it doesn’t matter, but what a great way to see the islands of Croatia. The skipper certainly knew his stuff and I always felt comfortable. The hostess (which was a treat) kept on surprising us with the most delicious meals. This was a unique way to relax, see the sights and make new friends.
