"Loes Hendriks has worked from July till August 2014 on my yacht as captain. Loes is completely reliable, consistent, prudent, very well organized, has a great specialist knowledge, and was quick to familiarize with the yacht. She is very friendly, helpful, patient, and not only an excellent sailor, she also has a lot of technical understanding and was able to analyze very quickly and directly repair problems. I can highly recommend Loes and look forward to sail with her again."

"We spent good holidays with Loes while sailing in the British Virgin Islands. She showed professionalism and knowledge of the region, so we were able to navigate safely around those beautiful islands. She was very much dedicated to the boat and its materials, everything was well maintained on board and cleared properly. She also managed at her best the repairs and maintenance of the boat with different contractors."

"Loes Hendriks was part of a delivery crew on board an Oyster 72 Magrathea from Antigua to Palma de Mallorca, for which I was the relief captain on board. During her time on board, I found her to be a very hard working, pleasant individual to have on board the vessel. Loes was always willing to give a hand on board and I found her to have many skills and a very good sense of humor appreciated by all."

"Loes Hendriks has worked for Hercules Sailing as a freelance Royal Yachting Association cruising instructor. She has been excellent both in her sailing ability and with her teaching skills. She completed some of her training with and impressed us enough to offer her work once she gained her full skipper qualifications. Hard working, punctual, and good natured, she has been well recommended by our clients. Determined and resourceful, Loes will be an asset to any vessel."

"I did a week’s s sailing course with Loes. We were four students from three different nationalities and with different levels of sailing experience. We had adverse weather conditions, we had sea sickness, and we had the excitement of seeing orca whales. It was a wonderful week and Loes taught us sailing, kept us safe, and let us enjoy the beauty of sailing. Loes was an amazing host, always cheerful and friendly, the first one up in the morning and the last one to go to bed. She prepared the most amazing meals and made sure everybody was comfortable and was enjoying the experience. I felt very safe because Loes was at all times in charge of the boat, she planned our routes carefully and never put us in danger. Instructions were given calmly and she remained positive and encouraging all the time. I could not have asked for a better first experience in sailing."

"My wife and I went on a chartered sailing cruise in the Carribean on a Beneteau Oceanus 434 for a week in January 2012. We were on board with two other couples we had never seen before. Only half of the people on board had any sailing experience. Loes Hendriks was our skipper, and she managed the trip in an excellent way from every point of view."

"She made everybody feel very welcome on board and encouraged and improved positive interactions between the passengers, without losing her authority. She was very focused on safety on board and gave clear instructions before and during the sailing trips. We very much appreciated this aspect, also the no alcohol while sailing policy. Every day, she took the time and effort to learn the interested passengers the basic principles of sailing. After a week we felt like a crew, instead of passengers, and this made the trip so pleasant."

"Loes was very attentive to people getting sea sick, giving preventive advice, and taking preventive measures, and when necessary securing them and taking the necessary steps to make them feel better. We felt very safe on board with Loes. As a skipper, she never took any risks, we saw her carefully preparing every trip on a daily basis. Loes is a very skillful skipper concerning maneuvers in and outside the harbor. She maintained the financial daily aspects very well, in a transparent and correct way. Also, the daily catering was perfectly maintained by Loes."

"She has excellent contacts and connections with local helpers, services, and authorities, which made our trip very easy going. Loes is an excellent problem solver when necessary. I can only recommend Loes Hendriks in every way: she is honest, correct, skillful, experienced, and very social."
