Teacher trainees will stay and practice at the beautiful Doce Lunas hotel. It is nestled within the jungle, in a quiet neighborhood of the quaint, yet vibrant beach town of Jaco, on Costa Rica’s central Pacific Coast.

Doce Lunas is unique among Costa Rica hotels, having five acres of jungle gardens. It provides luxury lodging at the base of a jungle-covered mountain, with plenty of spaces to relax and unwind, and only a few minutes away from beautiful south Jaco beach.

Accommodation offers comfortable and restful rooms, air-conditioning, cable television, en-suite bathrooms with large hot water bathtubs, room service, daily maid service and affordable laundry service, and linen. Moreover, there is a spectacular waterfall cave mosaic swimming pool.

This yoga teacher training takes place in Jaco, Costa Rica. Offering a wide range of amenities, restaurants, and nightlife activities, the bustling beach town of Playa Jaco is the most popular vacation destination in Costa Rica's central Pacific region.

Jaco beach itself is about five kilometers long. The valley is ringed by beautiful jungle-covered mountains that rise 300 meters from the sea. The Playa Jaco hotel's location makes it a good base for exploring the coast, with its spectacular beaches, wildlife, and dramatic biodiversity.

There are several varieties of fruit trees, including mango, banana, cas fruit, manzana de agua, coconut, and star fruit. When they are in season, you will find them in salads and in the homemade ice cream at the hotel's restaurant. You can also just pick them right off the tree. Star fruit, also called "carambola", is a local favorite.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO). You should arrive by 10:00 a.m. the latest, to arrange transportation to Jaco, or arrive the day before and stay the night in San Jose (optional). On departure, schedule your flight at 2:00 p.m. the earliest, to allow for transit time and early check-in requirements.
