A warm welcome awaits you on your short yoga break to the fabulous sunny region of Alicante, Spain. This yoga retreat is suitable for both beginners and intermediate level practitioners. Get ready to experience various health benefits through yoga and of course our homely environment to allow you to relax quickly. Enjoy a guided walk along the coastal path or the local hills of the pretty town of Moraira!
During this short yoga break, you will be staying in a family hosted villa with sun terrace and pool, set a short walk from Moraira and the beach. Our villa offers separate guest accommodation with sitting room, dining area, and guest kitchen for making drinks and snacks.
Depending on rooms booked, there are choices of single room, twin room with private use showers, or a double room with en-suite. If you book a shared room, you will also share a shower room. You may only book shared room if you wish to bring a friend or partner who wants to enjoy the yoga break with you or may want to participate in other activities available.
The days vary and the yoga times are different but a typical day may start at 10am for either beach yoga or a guided walk. Yoga will be taught by one of the four qualified teachers available at the time of the holiday. As there are a variety of teachers, the yoga itself may be a fusion of styles, with a class being 75 minutes in length typical. There are four qualified yoga teachers, who have been teaching for 10 years or more, as such their styles are all different and guests all have their favourite style.
Other activities include a guided walk usually in the morning with yoga later to help stretch any aching muscles from the walk, the perfect compliment. You may of course wish to relax on the beach, as many guests do. Lunch time is around 1:30 p.m., but again this may be varied to suit a longer walk in the afternoon. On the weekends, guests may wish to stroll to the chill-out garden a five minute walk from the villa where they will find live music five nights per week to choose from starting around 6 pm and finishing 8.30 pm approx listen to live music. There are also many delightful cafes to choose a quiet drink to relax.
Anahita Csurilla qualified as a Hatha yoga teacher from Sivananda Yoga centre Budapest in 2010. Anahita has a master's degree in the Prana Nadi Method of natural healing and a level 4 master of competence since 2012. She has also attended Matra University of Alternative Science from 2009 to 2011 in Hungary. She also studied other forms of yoga including Vinyasa flow. Her Hatha yoga style is becoming more influenced by Therapy yoga and in her classes and workshops, she pays attention to the individual needs of her students, the chakras, and the health giving benefits with renewed energy flow.
This yoga holiday will be held in Moraira, Spain. Just 90 kilometers north of Alicante, on the coast via airport transfer, lies the pretty town of Moraira, a small beautiful port and marina town, known as the jewel of the Costa Blanca, Spain. Moraira offers lovely chill out bars and cafes, excellent boutique shopping, and delicious restaurants to suit all tastes for those wishing to sample the local cuisine.
All with an unhurried air and excellent energy, Moraira is perfect for those seeking relaxation. The family run hosted villa is located in a quiet cul de sac on an urbanization, only a short stroll to Moraira and beach. Located near to the sea, making it perfect for exploring the beautiful local coastline.
Mountains form the backdrop to the valley. The vineyards surrounding Moraira is predominantly the famous Muscatel grapes that make the sweet Spanish dessert wine, harvested around September. Moraira town hall prides itself on being awarded the annual prestigious beaches EU blue flag classification, denoting its excellent facilities and cleanliness.
Rejuvenation of the body and mind starts with a diet of natural healthy juices. Fresh fruit and vegetable juices will be served during this detox yoga retreat. The juices are designed to work with your body, which is naturally detoxing, to give your body a well-earned break.
With natural fresh juices, they will are squeezing the very best nutrients from your favorite fruits and vegetables into liquid form. Who would believe a mix of orange, carrot and beetroot could taste so good.

Optional activities in the summer months from June to September are kayaking and SUP boarding for hire from one of the local beaches, which is proving to be very popular. You may also try beach walking or a walk to the Cap D'Or, an eight kilometers walk to and from the villa with spectacular views.
You will need a reasonable level of fitness to climb the last one kilometer up the mountain path to the top. A drink at the beach café after the descent is the most popular activity to do after and before returning back into town.
Mini treatments are available locally in Moraira by appointment. For those who wish to have a treatment, to avoid disappointment, it is strongly suggested that these are booked at the beginning of the holiday as the studio gets very busy.
