I really enjoyed the yoga retreat with Yoga Retreat Komiza. Komiza and Vis are wonderful. The place and destination really worth visiting. Alma was an excellent host who tried to spoil us in every possible way. She provided us a wonderful accommodation in one of her villas, the best chef on the island who prepared us all the best local specialties, top Croatian yoga coach Asja Petersen from whom we learned a lot and organized us beautiful excursions in which we known better all the beauties of the island.

It was a truly memorable holiday and Croatia is a photographers paradise. I loved the cruise but I think Vis is my favourite island. I just wanted to say thanks again for the awesome yoga week. Some highlights for me were your beautiful smile and how welcoming you were. I loved the accommodation. My room with the amazing view. It was lovely to see the harbour from the comfort of my bed.I also loved the way the meals were structured with a delicious brunch and dinner being provided each day. It was lovely to have a local lady cook our dinner each night, using all local ingredients and local wines.Asja was a great teacher and beautiful person. My yoga classes at home are more spiritually focussed with less emphasis on alignment, so at first I found it a little different but I soon relaxed into Asjas way of taking a class.Another highlight was the walk you took us on collecting the herbs and taking short cuts through the locals land. Thanks to Ivana. She is a beautiful soul who made me feel so welcome and included. Thanks also to you and Selma for my relaxing massage. Lastly thanks to your hubby, for cooking for us and just being a beautiful friendly man. I hope we meet again one day.

It was simply perfect! Alma was a perfect host, she spoils us in a very welcoming way with her natural hospitality! I also have to mention Lilijana, who cooked for us every evening simple yet perfect dishes. And of course not to forget Ratko's chicken! Asja was a very thoughtful and wonderful yoga teacher, I have to admit - she set the bar for future yoga classes quite high. The yoga class location was perfect as well. I liked the architecture by Ivan Vitic from the 60's. And what to say about Vis and Komiza in general - it is a perfect place for a retreat, with or without yoga!

Alma was the perfect host and made us feel welcome from the moment we started our trip from home with detailed directions, travel advice, and recommendations for activities in Komiza. The house is very compact and vertical, there's a spiral staircase connecting the 4 floors, we had seven people in our group and the house felt full. Our top bedroom was very nice, we had super air-conditioning and although the outside temperature was very hot, we never felt hot in the house. The outside porch is great and we even managed a dinner party for 12 people. The heart of the town is 100yrds away and parking for a car is perhaps 200yrds away up the hill. The town is wonderful, bustling in the summer but never felt too busy or touristy. We had a great stay.

Excellent house in an excellent location. We were two families (total 9 people) and this house worked very well for us. It is in an excellent location - 2 mins from the beach and town. We recommed Villa Alma and hope to come back soon.

The house is exquisite, a 400 year old stone building that has been converted beautifully into a modern day home, we were so comfortable here, the house is huge with a beautiful garden area, the beach is steps away, the shops, harbour and restaurants are less than a 100 metres stroll through the old streets of this historic town. The Island of Vis is beautiful, the waters are crystal clear, the landscape beautifully rugged, dotted by vineyards, olive groves, lemon trees, lavender and rosemary. Centuries old churches still hold daily services and stand proudly ringing their bells every 15 minutes, their chimes ringing through the old town. The locals are so friendly and relaxed, this place is a paradise and we were so lucky to have experienced it in such a way. We were so sad to leave and are sure we will return to Vis one day.

Ratko and Alma were very nice and accommodating. When we arrived, Ratko met us and took us into town to show us where the grocery stores, beaches, restaurants, and other places were located and gave us a great overview of the things not to miss on Vis.
