Each day starts with an energizing Vinyasa flow yoga; the evening classes are set at a more relaxed pace. Yoga practices consist of a combination of familiar postures, as well as more challenging poses, with adjustments and variations. You are encouraged to keep listening to the energy of the moment and to keep practicing within the limitations of your own body, with no expectations as to what could (or could not) be achieved before.

Art therapy workshop

You will have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of art therapy. The goal of art therapy session is to access your playful intuition and express yourself artistically (in one of traditional forms of art such as painting, drawing, photography, and writing) under the guidance and supervision of a teacher, who will help you with interpretation and understanding of underlying messages communicated through your art. It may help you with deeper understanding of yourself, resolving issues as well as reducing stress, and improving self-esteem and awareness. You do not need to have any predispositions, just curiosity; you will be surprised how fun is expressing yourself through art.

Free time

On your free time you will have the time and space to do things just for you. Make the most out of it: relax, reflect, and rest by the pool; enjoy the silence, summer breeze, and scent of aromatic herbs from Mediterranean gardens; take a nap in a hammock, book a massage, or enjoy optional group activities discovering the beauty and wonders of Island Vis.

You will be taken on adventure tours, discovering the best of Island Vis. It is a fun and exciting way to experience island of Vis and its extraordinary beauty, authentic lifestyle and local culture. You will go to authentic local villages Vis and Komiza for a delightful wandering around beautiful old stone buildings, line narrow streets and alleyways, bars in the squares and restaurants with fresh seafood menu along the waterfront.

In the inner part of the island you will see citrus orchards, pine and carob trees, rosemary, lavender and many vineyards and olive trees. A days in the sun you will spend at the southern coast dotted with beautiful bays, secluded beaches and extraordinary coves like Srebrna, world famous Stiniva and Stoncica.

Due to its half century isolation under Yugoslavia the island is not crowded with tourist apartments and hotels. It is the chosen destination for those people who appreciate its authenticity, acknowledged by the World Organization for Environmental Protection as one of the ten most environmentally preserved islands in the Mediterranean. The area of the island covers 90 square kilometers with its interior rich in vegetation, vineyards, and olive trees. There are no poison snakes or spiders on the island, which is full of beautiful vegetation and animal species. The island is full of little paths and roads, and is easily crossable. Boat excursions

This is the perfect starting point to discover many faces of island Vis. Explore of nearby island Bisevo and world famous Blue Cave, or island Hvar. For real adventurous we offer tours of the desolated military object and labyrinth tunnels which are part of the underground military base spread for miles under the Island Vis


It is unique opporunity to dive into history and relate to lifes of anceint traditional fishermen and sailors. Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Split Airport (SPU) and make sure that the arrival is by 5:00 p.m. the latest. From Split Airport, you can take shuttle bus (4 EUR) or taxi (much more expensive and not suggested) to Split center (the last bus stop). Split ferry port is just across the street from the bus stop.

At Split ferry port, you will meet our guide at 6:00 p.m. and collect the ferry tickets (which are included in the price). The ferry to Vis departs at 6:30 p.m. When you arrive to Vis, you will be picked up in the port with green land rover to take you to the yoga accommodation.

    Amazing, energizing experience

    PROS Pros: This yoga retreat was so relaxing to the point that it was energizing. The hosts were so kind and welcoming, and made sure that all the guests were enjoying themselves. The yoga classes were well-instructed and the food was really delicious. It was so nice not to have to do any planning and to experience some of the best spots on Island Vis. The beaches we visited during the day were world-class. The villa was above and beyond! I would highly recommend this retreat to anyone.

    The yoga retreat of our dreams

    CONS Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

    PROS Pros: The location in the middle of the island was perfect for a secluded yoga retreat. The teacher was attentive to each student's needs, planned her lessons carefully and gave us some very rewarding yoga sessions - two per day. The vegetarian meals were without exception delicious. Our hosts, who are local to Vis, arranged optional day trips to the most beautiful locations on the island and drove us there themselves. The setup was flexible and we were able to arrange the schedule every day to suit ourselves. The island itself is very beautiful and well worth exploring. We came in late May - early June, so the weather was warm but never oppressively hot. Also, as the main tourist season had not yet started we didn't have to negotiate crowds at any of the sites or beaches we visited. In short this yoga retreat was everything we had hoped it would be.

    "We've just returned to NZ after 7 days on the beautiful island of Vis staying on the ancient vineyard and in the ancient villa of Nevenka and Ive. Words can't really describe the amazing experience we had at the yoga adventure retreat. Arriving on the island is a jaw dropping start. Ive is a warm welcoming and funny host... The location of the villa in the countryside just 15 mins from the village of Vis town and it is like stepping back in time... Vines thick with grapes line the road in. It is beyond quiet. Arriving at the villa is like walking into a movie set. Ancient stone buildings with great outside seating areas, dining areas, a perfectly positioned hammock and the cleanest bluest pool you'll ever swim in. The rooms vary in size. We are in the stairway to heaven. It's massive! The bathroom alone is bigger than the yacht we've just spent a week on and the bed is very comfy.. Sunrise wakes us every morning. Tiffany our yoga teacher has the sun shining out of every pore. Anna our vegan chef is a delight and a whizz in the kitchen. Nevenka... Is she the most beautiful Croatian woman in the world!?? I think so. With 12 sessions of yoga ahead of us Tiffany starts gently and revs us up as the days go by. We are meditating on each of our 6 charkras... One each day.. From the ground up we move through the rainbow to the brilliant white light of our crowns. The final meditation takes place at the highest point of the island as the sun sets in the most miraculous show or orange... It's beyond beautiful. "

Her sweet New York tones lull us into the deep recesses of our muscles and minds..     "This has been my first vacation alone and also the first yoga retreat and I have to say even though I had no idea what to expect I ended up having the best time ever. Ivica and Nevenka are amazing hosts and beautiful people! They did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I pretty much felt home thanks to their hospitality and the amazing homemade meals. Marieke, our yoga instructor, didn`t just make yoga greatly enjoyable on physical level but with introducing different theories and talking about different styles, showing meditation forms made yoga just such an amazingly interesting experience! So much that I`m thinking of doing a YTT. The art therapy with Kristina was a lot of fun and a great way to release. I loved that after every dinner Nevenka and Ivica joined us and we were sharing stories and laughs, all of them were available all the time in case we needed anything. The yoga party was lovely and so much fun. I cannot say anything bad about this vacation. I look back at it as one of the best decisions I have ever made! And I could never thank enough for them to make my time there so awesome! Oh, and the island and the villa are just beautiful!"

    "As a novice yogi I was uncertain what to expect from a retreat (I've never been on one before) but was blown away by what an amazing time I had; Im converted! The location, instruction and your hospitality were fantastic. From the moment we arrived I felt welcome and the effort you both put into showing us around the island, ensuring we felt at ease in your beautiful home and cooking some of the best veggie food Ive had, was very impressive. For me, the timetable allowed for the perfect mix of instruction, relaxation and mini adventures.Marieke was wonderful too. I was new to yoga but by the end of the week I felt Id improved substantially. The morning sessions were invigorating and being by the pool was a lovely setting.     "Dear Nevenka, Dear Ivo,Thank you so much for this amazing week. The yoga retreat was way beyond all my expectations. I had chosen this retreat because of the location (Mediterranean sea), because of the program and because the villa looked really nice at the pictures. The villa is indeed wonderful. I really liked the fact that it is isolated, in the middle of the vineyards and the olive trees, that it is an old stone house with a lot of charm, that it is tastefully decorated and that there are several different corners where we can chill (bean bags hammock, swimming pool). Then the food was excellent: the variety, freshness, quantities, nice touches...Every meal was pure pleasure.And you two! You are so welcoming, warm, funny, helpful, available. You are both perfect hosts! I really liked the moments you spent with at the table, the adventures we all were on...Precious memories. The activities you proposed were really well chosen: a nice balance between physical, artistic, visits to towns and beaches. I really appreciated discovering a bit of the beauties of this island.It was my first visit in Croatia and I certainly will come again. It is such a beautiful and rich country (culture, nature, people...)."

This was my first vacation alone and I'm so happy I chose your retreat for that. I honestly cannot point out one thing that I didn't like about this week.
