The rooms are very quiet and clean, overlooking the garden or the sea (for the larger rooms for 4 people). Depending on the availability:

  • For 1 person: Ses Figueretes or S'illot
  • For 2 persons: Ses Figueretes, S'illot, or Tagomago
  • For 3 or 4 persons: the small apartments - Los almendros or Los Olivos (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen / living area)


The details of the program will depend on the abilities of the student, as Opale will compose unique bespoke sessions, after checking on the arrival day and both the wishes and the physical possibilities of each person.

Learning the unique technique of Sukhita yoga

  • Did you know that the stiffest muscle of your body is in your mind?

You are mostly limited by your mind. By learning to ease and relax the mind, direct your attention in the right place and initiate your movements from your center, you’ll find space in the body, allowing you to flow with lightness and joy in the practice, whilst increasing stability, integrity, and confidence.

Sukhita flow yoga is a dynamic and flowing yoga, using free body sequencing, in movement or in stasis; guided by the rhythm of each breath, deep, and conscious. The session becomes one big flowing sequence, done with awareness and joy, a meditation in motion.

With a practical step by step program, you will practice a wide variety of asanas, learn to correct your alignment; guided by hands-on adjustments from the teacher. The use of different variations of postures permits you to go deeper into the final asana and allows you a precise understanding from a new point of view.

In a week’s time, you will feel taller and build up stamina and a stable core strength. You will learn to release tensions and practice with tranquility and ease, feeling lighter in both body and mind.

Suitable for all: the classes are designed in such a way that both the beginners and the regular practitioners will benefit from the yoga course. Suitable variations are always proposed along the way.

As the days will pass, the rhythm of the class and the number of the asanas will increase. The student is invited to keep cultivating the ability to softly listen, to his / her body, mind, emotions, to the energy of the moment, practicing within their own body’s limitations.

Opale is very attentive at the correct placement of your body in the posture, to avoid pain and physical problems caused by improper alignment. She considers the practice of yoga as an essential tool to cure oneself.

Yoga program

Day 1

  • Evening welcoming circle to clarify your intentions
  • You are invited to express your particular wishes and physical needs / issues for your retreat (calming the mind, clarifying your life goals, dealing better with your emotions, increasing self esteem and confidence, strengthening the core, empowering your body, working on spine flexibility, lower back issues, etc.)

Day 2

  • Theme: Dharana - keeping your attention on a single place
  • Pranayama and Mindfulness meditation exercise
  • Yoga: your physical practice is a meditation in motion
  • Introduction to the breathing technique Udhjaï Breath and how to use the Bandhas
  • Evening Pilates: core strengthening evening practice using Sukhita's method

Day 3

  • Theme: Samtosa - Satisfaction and contentment, to be at peace with the experience you are living
  • Mindfulness meditation: Exploring the emotional body and learning to distinguish the different feelings
  • Yoga: You will explore how to initiate all the movements from the center, bringing lightness into the transitions between the asanas
  • Evening restorative Sukhita yoga practice to improve flexibility in the legs, lower back and hips, creating ease in the body
  • Emphasis on letting go and surrendering

Day 4

  • Theme: Ahimsa - Non-violence towards yourself and treating your body with kindness and respect
  • Mindfulness meditation and invigorating pranayama
  • Yoga: How to integrate the tools of Mindfulness into your yoga practice and further ahead in your daily life
  • Learning where to place the mind’s attention during each asanas and in the transitions and improving stability and lightness in your practice

Day 5

  • Theme: Pratyahara - Traveling inwards deeper, towards your inner space
  • Pranayama and Mindfulness meditation
  • Yoga: Emphasis on energizing back bending asanas and how to release tensions in the lower back
  • You will learn how to use the tools of Sukhita yoga in the balancing asanas to improve stability and freedom in the body
  • Evening silent walk and Loving-Kindness meditation by the sea to improve your self esteem and co-create a peaceful world

Day 6

  • Theme: Balance
  • Pranayama and meditation: You will explore the emotional body, and the sensations linked to the emotions
  • Learning to recognize, accept, and transform the feelings into tools to serve and empower yourself
  • Yoga: Cultivating a constant awareness of your inner world during the physical practice
  • Exploring the importance of your feelings and mind's attention for the balancing asanas

Day 7

  • Theme: Tapas
  • Pranayama: Practice of a detoxifying cleansing technique and the full expression of Udyana Bandha
  • Yoga: Intense practice of burning the impurities to make space for the positive change
  • Learning to integrate the tools of mindfulness into the yoga practice to move with more ease, lightness, and joy
  • Evening Mindfulness meditation: Practice of body scan
  • Closing circle and ceremony to let go off the old stuff and empower your life goals

Day 8

  • Theme: Clarity
  • Pranayama: Fire breath
  • Early morning yoga practice: Bringing together all the hints of the week’s teachings in a dynamic and joyful flowing practice (stability and lightness hand in hand)

Retreat location

The location is a very peaceful and small rural hotel, in the midst of nature, a few steps from a tranquil beach. If you’re seeking to switch off, relax, and discover secret spots in the "other" Ibiza, it is the place for you! Wifi free ,this will be a great opportunity to switch off and relax.The silence will help you to do so.

Sa Marina is an environmentally friendly ecological place. The yoga lessons will take place on a shaded outdoor wooden terrace, under the pine trees. The buffet daily breakfast is served in a lovely shaded outdoor dinning area.
