Gentle yoga is a mild form of yoga for people with chronic complaints, pain or tension. Gentle yoga works with postures that are adapted to everyone’s possibilities. You can expect gentle movement and yoga poses that help open, stretch and strengthen the body, calming breathing techniques to ease nerves and tension, and nourishing meditation. Together this allows you to reconnect with yourself both physically and mentally.
You will receive massage treatments for your body and mind. This and all the other activities are specially for you to just experience a relaxing holiday on a Greek island.
The rooms have a private en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace. Wi-Fi is only available in public spaces. In the lush garden, there are plenty of nice spots where you can read and relax in one of the hammocks.

Eating should be a pleasure and that is why they serve delicious, nutritious food. Every morning there is a fresh fruit or vegetable wake-up juice prepared for you. After your wonderful 90 minutes morning yoga and meditation session, a healthy breakfast will be served in the garden. You can make your own breakfast bowl with a plant-based yoghurt, tasty granola, various types of nuts and seeds, dried fruit and fresh fruit salad. There is oatmeal, freshly baked bread, jam and other toppings for your breakfast sandwich. You can squeeze your own fresh orange juice, try different herbal teas and we’ll be happy to make you a freshly ground coffee.
The rest of the day, you will have all the time to do what you like and Yoga on Kos will give you recommendations for the best places to go. In the early evening, you have another 60-minute gentle relaxing Yin/Restorative yoga session with a view of the sun setting.
In the evenings they serve a delicious plant-based Greek-style dinner, prepared on-site by the chef. Everything is fresh and they prefer to use local products. You’re welcome to bring one of your own newly discovered Greek wines. The good company and atmospheric lanterns with lights in the trees will create unforgettable evenings.
One evening after dinner, you will go to Therma. These are natural hot springs, which the Greeks themselves use to relax and enjoy. While the sun goes down and the stars come out, it is wonderful to float in the warm water with the sounds of the mountain goats in the background.
The sunset meditation at Hippocrates Altis where they will take you for the last evening together will be very special. It is close to the Asklepion, the sacred place of Hippocrates, the father of medicine who was born on Kos. The unique atmosphere makes this meditation an unforgettable experience.
For Gera, yoga is a philosophy of life. He can't imagine life without yoga. It makes him happy to see what yoga can do for people. To him, it is important that people are friendly, both to themselves and to others. This is also reflected during the sessions. By participating with attention and gentleness, one learns to be more tolerant: towards oneself as well as towards the people around. This makes life and the world more beautiful.
The retreat will take place in Greece, on the beautiful island of Kos. Their yoga center, which is exclusive for their yoga holiday guests, is a 5-minute walk to the clear blue Aegean sea, where you can swim and relax on the sandy beach. From here you have a beautiful view and you can see the stunning sunset. The large pool invites you for a swim to start the day or to freshen up after a sunny day.
