This yoga holiday (more than yoga retreat) was what I expected: relaxing in a comfortable place with yoga sessions. The resort set up just made difficult to meet other people.

The yoga instructor Nancy, was extremely attentive and skilled, and managed to adjust her classes on the go, to suit the different levels of her students, and she was clear, informative and soothing in her style of teaching. I did not expect the quality of the lessons to be of this level. I was pleased beyond my expectations.

The hotel was so spotlessly clean and calm/ quiet. The rest of the staff were very friendly and professional. (The waiters remembered how I took my coffee from the second time I came to breakfast). The staff in the spa was also very skilled and pleasant, and you could tell that they truly like their job.

There is nothing I didn´t like, this is the best hotel I have ever visited.

We really enjoyed the friendliness of staff, the cleanliness and the gorgeous views of the sea. The yoga instructors were outstanding and helped us improve our practice.

This was not a yoga retreat. There were only three yoga sessions a day that were so close together that made it difficult to rest and have a downtime. People were allowed to smoke during breakfast and next to our room which made it impossible to breathe fresh air without inhaling smoke too. The health menu was limited and repetitive - vegetarian and vegan options were very limited. This was a resort offering yoga, not a yoga retreat. In addition, we never received a nutritional consultation (one was scheduled over Skype but the Skype didn't work). There were no health sessions offered and the spa was a bit of a disappointment, due to bad smells (consistently spraying vanilla perfume to cover it up) and was rundown (lockers falling apart or not locking). This should not be offered as a yoga retreat, it is a lovely resort that is far away from the airport (1 hour driving distance).

TOUT, le yoga était parfait, le cadre magnifique, les gens hypersympas, bref: que du Bonheur!

Spacious room, very nice yoga instructor, private beach, food, spa treatments

The resort is very big, but has all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. So if you are looking for something like a retreat feeling - you better choose one of the other offerings that include the stay in a smaller hotel.

    The spa

    All the pool options

    The beautiful beach

    The Service

    Super market

It can be much nicer an easier to go around the place if you would put signs around the place and inside the spa as well.

The tranquillity of the location was absolutely stunning. The staff were very attentive and obliging.

Evening entertainment left something to be desired. More could be done to include more upbeat acts.

The Yoga sessions, meditation. The beautiful and peaceful location and the sorroundings.

Some discrepancies between what is advertised on the site and what is given. For example no Free Meal on Arrival as indicated on the Yoga retreat site. Hotel said this is to be taken up by the Yoga retreat site??

Pretty much everything - the yoga was spectacular, Nancy the teacher is very kind and was hugely liked by all the other guests, she's very attentive and adapts the classes to suit all levels and moods - I'm a regular hot yoga attendee in London and particularly liked the Ashtanga as it was quite aerobic, but also did the restorative classes every evening which are more relaxing and slower paced. It was lovely to see beginners take their first classes and then vow to keep going once they return home.

The beach and the pools are excellent - there's enough space to disappear on your own if you want some quiet.

The staff bend over backwards to accommodate your needs - Katarina the Operations Manager was really wonderful and particularly helpful, like Nancy the yoga teacher she is a real credit to this hotel.

I will definitely return this year!

This isn't a yoga retreat or even concept retreat, it is however a 5* hotel with all the perks and standards you would expect from this type of hotel - including jacuzzi jets in the bath! This is more a holiday with fabulous yoga, amazing spa and excellent service with a delicious nutritional breakfast. The rest of the time the food is not nutritionally orientated, so if you're planning to do a detox, vegetarian or on diet you have to adapt the food yourself; however, when I asked for additional juices the hotel were happy to provide, when I asked for simple 'clean food' that was off the menu (even in room service) they were happy to give me what I wanted, they're very accommodating.

If you're looking for a conventional retreat experience with a set group and group meals you'll be disappointed as this isn't a retreat, but if you're looking for luxury and a relaxing holiday, which you can structure around the yoga classes, you'll love this place, just be friendly to people in class and you'll make friends to hang out with so you don't have to eat alone in the evenings.

Looking at the sea, listening to its sounds and pondering.

The lack of men and concept of a retreat on what was advertised as a Men's Yoga Retreat. The yoga instruction was strict and too advanced despite that from the students (and in the early classes, student - I was the only one at first) ability levels, not being adjusted. It was taught somewhat out of a text book.

From the food to the people, the place is a piece of paradise and the retreat was a delight.

Thinking back to the weekend I’ve spent, one wish comes to mind; I wish I could have stayed there more! Needless to say, the hotel and its facilities are amazing. The hotel provides a variety of colorful places to spend your day near the beautiful private beach, with amazing view, excellent service, and a sense of quiet. It’s definitely the perfect place to get away and just relax. Nothing to worry about. The rooms with the private swimming pool are a must! Even your culinary demands will surely be met with the different restaurants located inside the hotel. The hotel personnel were very professional and Manuel, the front desk manager, was more than helpful and gave quick solutions to our every need. Will be looking forward to the next season to repeat my stay.

Can't say enough about the quiet and beautifully laid out hotel. The staff was the friendliest we've ever met. Food: excellent. Fantastic breakfast setting in the outdoor covered patio overlooking beautiful pools and sea (indoors is also available). Quiet end of the island and a car is helpful (we rented reasonably, right from hotel lobby) so you can see the southern island's sights or visit an off site restaurant but nice just to enjoy the spread out grounds of the hotel for several days. Nice pebbly, beach where you can swim and walk in both directions for a long way. Manager Paul was visible everyday; smiling, handshaking, and making sure everyone was happy. Didn't want to go after 4 days!

During our recent stay, we had a deluxe double room with a sea view that was stunning. This was our second stay here in two years. It has four restaurants; two of which are fine dinning. All of the staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is in a sleepy part of the island which suits us. It is a good idea to hire a car for a few days. If you book with the hotel directly, they will provide a taxi to bring and take you to the airport. It has a good super market for beer, wine, and etc.

We had the time of our lives! Super clean, with a large variety of wine, and goods. All the staff was very kind and very helpful. Special thanks to the director Mr. Eleutheropoulos Apostolos and Mr.Spartalis Kostas!! We loved the spa treatments with their anti-aging therapies and relaxing massages!! It is certainly the best place to be to relax and have the best vacation ever!

Didn't think it was possible but it was even better than our holiday in July thanks to all the lovely people who work there. Hope we all meet again next year! Thank you Paul and everyone who worked in the hotel this summer. Enjoy your rest as the hotel closes for the winter.

This hotel is architecturally stunning in a quiet location. Built on a sloping cliff with a beach below. The hotel is large with many pools, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The hotel never appears to be crowded and there are plenty of sun beds. It is peaceful and very relaxing. The food was varied, delicious and plentiful, and catered for all dietary requirements. All the staff are amazing, friendly, and caring ensuring that your stay meets all your requirements. Special mention to Katherine, who could not do enough for us. Our room cleaner made our bed look beautiful with a different towel and flower design every day. The room was spotless. We loved the entertainment every night. There was only one fault. We did not book for long enough, so we will be back.

A beautifully spacious, relaxing hotel. Immaculately clean everywhere, fantastic staff, fabulous views, and fantastic food. We stayed for ten days and hired a car for three days to get about as the hotel is very remote. The beach is also lovely with plenty of padded sun loungers and wooden walkways. Breakfast and dinner were amazing with so much choice. Definitely a 5 star hotel.

My experience in this retreat was awesome... The villa was spectacular with full facilities... We enjoyed the aqua yoga in the pool... Loved the workshops on sprouting and making Kefir... Sandra is extremely experienced and knowledgeable in detoxing the body... Very creative in her cooking and juicing... Mostly, I enjoyed Sandra's exuberance and charisma...
