  • Lindsey Porter

    As well as running three Yoga~Nu~U yoga classes based near Falkirk, Lindsey also enjoys being a mom to her two boisterous boys and actively supporting two voluntary organisations: CVS Falkirk and Smart Works Edinburgh. She is also a certified NLP Practitioner, Reiki master, and holistic therapist (Indian head massage and hopi ear candles).

  • Emma Frame

    Emma teaches a general Hatha yoga style with yoga props. Her classes are friendly and caring. She loves to modify an asana for her students and meet the needs of their individual body. Emma completes her yoga training in 2004 with the wonderful and inspirational Julie Hanson and June Mitchell at CYS Scotland. She holds a RYS 200 hour Yoga Alliance and has taught since then. She completed the YogaBugs training for children in 2005.

This retreat will take place in St. Andrews, Scotland, United Kingdom.

Your meals, snacks, and drinks are included in the price. Meals are vegetarian and fish based.

    CONS Cons: The only negative I had was having to pay a big supplement for my 3nights solo accommodation.

    PROS Pros: yoga was excellent, walking good,NLP was new to me which opened my way of thinking which I have taken back with me and used thanks Cat ! We also had lots of laughs and thats always a good thing. Thanks to you both Cat/Lindsey

    Organizer response: We appreciate all feedback and thank you for taking the time. We aim to be inclusive for our Retreat weekends and we offer a single room as an option to support guests with their preferences. This carries a single supplement and represents only a relatively small addition amount in comparison to the income we lose by not offering the room as a twin for 2 guests. If guests feel the additional amount for a single room option is too much they are always welcome to share a twin room.     "Carolyn has returned absolutely buzzing about the great time she had on the retreat, lovely views, great weather, fabulous yoga. Apparently she is a dedicated fan and is going to join your regular yoga classes? She can’t get over the fact that, never having done yoga before, she was standing on her head! She is so enthused by the whole thing, it is wonderful."

    "Having never done yoga before I started Lindsey's classes about four months ago. I thoroughly enjoy her classes. No two classes are the same as Lindsey sets different themes for each class. I never feel there isn't anything I can't do as Lindsey ensures that everyone is comfortable (but challenging themselves) offering more challenging positions or modifications. I would, and have, recommended Lindsey's classes to anyone."

    "Lindsey's calming nature and people skills means she has the perfect qualities for a yoga teacher. Along with her amazing skills, she left me feeling completely de-stressed and relaxed at the end of every yoga session.     "It was really nice to meet you yesterday and I certainly feel that I have benefitted from our 121 practice, it was definitely the most enjoyable (and challenging!) yoga session I have had to date. I have got loads of aches and pains this morning; I'm sure that's a good sign! I've never enjoyed the relaxation at the end more as I was exhausted by that stage; it was absolute bliss. I also really enjoyed the shiatsu foot massage you gave me half way through our practice when I was starting to flag, it gave me a boost."

    "As a complete yoga beginner, what I love about yoga sessions with Lindsey is the gentle pace that she uses to take us through each move. Lindsey’s words are reassuring, informative, funny and encouraging. Lindsey repeatedly reminds us that yoga is not a competition and that it’s for us to decide how far we go with any pose. Overall the session has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and leaves you feeling amazingly refreshed and zingy."
