    During this teacher training you will stay either in a private or a shared room. The private rooms are equipped with a king-sized bed while the shared rooms host two twin beds. The training venue also has a swimming pool, a rooftop access with stunning ocean view, common areas with hammocks and a large balcony, a kitchen area to prepare food, an a house manager on-site for any assistance.

    This teacher training is integrated by different kind of sources like different yoga traditional vedic, tantric, and Buddhist schools like Kundalini, Hatha, Ashtanga, Yantra, and Thai massage, a variety of martial arts mostly Taoists like TaiJi, QiGong, Capoeira, Aikido, and TaeKwonDo, but as well as sports like free dive, body weight workout, and acrobatics, and physiotherapeutical and neurological sciences.

    This 25-day yoga teacher training is intensive enough to equip you with the knowledge, confidence and skills you need to teach great classes but will also give you time to explore and enjoy the beach and the local lifestyle.

      Victor has been a practitioner since his early childhood, and he has thousands of hours of teaching experience in Tulum, one of the most important yoga destinations in the world. Victor will bring to this training his experience of teaching to yogis from all ages, body conditions and practice levels in the same classroom, while still being able to give everyone the challenge they need. Come learn from him!

    • Cara Luna

      Cara Luna completed her teacher training with YogaMultimedia in Tulum, Mexico. She received her yoga Nidra training with Dr. Marc Halpern at Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas. With a background of training internationally, mostly in Africa, Cara Luna is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience of yoga. Cara Luna’s personal practice has foundations in Hatha, Vinyasa and Pilates. She is currently studying to become an Ayurvedic Health Counselor.

    This training will be held at La Punta beach in Puerto Escondido, Mexico.Puerto Escondido is divided in five pockets; Playa Carizalillo, Adoquin, Playa Zicatela, Centro, and La Punta. La Punta is connected to the main Zicatela beach but considered separate for surfers. This part of town has its own village feel with unpaved roads and many small restaurants, bars, and shops shaded by palm trees.

    During this training, you will be served a daily homemade breakfast from Monday to Saturday and also a daily homemade lunch from Monday to Friday. Please note that all the other meals will be on your own.

    During your free time, there’s plenty to do from relaxing on the beach, taking a surf or paddle board lesson, to exploring the surrounding area. Local excursions can also be arranged for an additional cost.

      "The fact that I am writing this testimonial over a year after I have been on a yoga retreat with Victor in Tulum is a testimonial in and of itself. The fact that I am taking the time in a very busy moment in my life is an additional testimonial to Victor's awesomeness. Would I write this testimonial two years after the retreat, it would still be as enthusiastic as I felt leaving Tulum two summers ago. Tulum has changed my life before, but somehow Victor always seems to play a role in it.       "I came here after researching remote beach resorts and seeing that they offered yoga, healthy food, and no TV or Internet. I was in desperate need to relax and recharge. Maya Tulum exceeded all of my expectations. Tulum is spectacularly beautiful and there is an indescribably strong and peaceful energy here. The yoga is challenging and the teacher really passionate. Tania and Victor are standout instructors who are excellent at both the yoga and meditation. The food is amazing. Not a single bad meal. Fish tacos, veg sandwich, guajillo fish and granola are my favorites but honestly it's all so good, fresh and filling. Don't let the vegetarian thing fool you the food is so satisfying."

      "I went to 3 a.m. yoga classes (two with Maria, one with Victor). The yoga studio is beautiful. One large room, lots of windows, ceiling fans, and well-stocked with mats, blankets, small towels, blocks, antiseptic spray, and drinking water. In fact, I've never been to a nicer studio. The practice was really nice, very professional, and restful and challenging at the same time. Neither Maria nor Victor take themselves too seriously - they were light hearted and calm and made me feel very comfortable. They both spent time checking postures and assisting students with their poses. I wish I could transport them and the studio here to Las Vegas!"
