After the success of the 2021 retreat, Cheryl and Sarah are going back to the beautiful Cattle Shed set in the Peak District. The retreat is catered to all levels of physical movement. You will be encouraged to move to a level that suits your body and you can do as much or little as you wish.
You will be staying in the magnificent Cattle Shed for your retreat. The accommodation is set in the picturesque village of Grindleford, in the beautiful Dark Peak. The Cattle Shed is a stylish and contemporary 11 bedrooms barn conversion catering for up to 24 people and offering the very best in home from home luxury. With wonderful views of Froggatt Edge and the surrounding valley.
The retreat will begin on Monday, September 23rd. Arrive from 4:00 p.m. onwards. The retreat will conclude on Thursday, September 26th. Departure by midday. The retreat includes daily Dynamic yoga, Astanga Yoga, fitness practices, or training in the morning and the early afternoon. In the evening, you will be offered a range of practices such as Yin, Restorative yoga, meditation, Gong and sound bathing, we look forward to preparing a cacao ceremony for you.
You will enjoy nourishing yoga practices for your body and mind through carefully crafted yoga practices guided by Cheryl, whilst Sarah will put you through your paces in energetic workout sessions to work into your body and mind to its full capacity. You will have the chance to reconnect to nature with walks, runs, or maybe enjoy some time to read a book or two. You will be able to tempt your palate with delicious meals prepared by our in-house chef to leave feeling satisfied.
The retreat is catered to all levels of physical movement. You will be encouraged to move to a level that suits your body and you can do as much or little as you wish. Yoga equipment will be provided (such as blocks and straps, equipment will be cleaned). It is suggested you bring your own mat for hygiene. Cheryl's happy to help provide suggestions if you need this. All training equipment will be cleaned between sessions. Support will be given by Cheryl and Sarah throughout your stay.
Local hikes will be included each day.
Cheryl teaches yoga from the heart and offers a warm and light approach to the practice whilst weaving in the spiritual elements. Cheryl attained her L3 diploma, 200 hours yoga teacher's training in 2011 attaining a CQY Accreditation with YMCA. Cheryl completed her 300 hours training in June 2020 with YogaLondon. Cheryl is very passionate about teaching and practicing yoga, she is committed to her continued Yoga Studies to ensure she continues to grow as a teacher.
Sarah is a highly skilled fitness trainer with years of experience in the field. Having had a love for exercise and movement from a very young age, Sarah left her corporate marketing role to pursue a career in personal training and hasn’t looked back since. As a successful mobile PT Sarah has managed to build a strong business off her passion, discipline, and determination to get people active and healthy, both mentally and physically. A favorite saying being your body will only go where the mind lets it! Sarah is great at being able to push you to a point that is challenging for you.
The Cattle Shed is situated in the Hope Valley in the heart of The Peak District, close to the market town of Bakewell, the magnificent Chatsworth House, and the beautiful medieval Haddon Hall in the United Kingdom. The location is a walker’s paradise; Padley Gorge and the National Trust Longshaw Estate are on the doorstep, whilst the famous climbing edges of Curbar, Froggatt, and Stanage are just five minutes away.

All meals will be prepared by an amazing in-house chef Andrea, all meals will be included in the price from dinner on Monday to brunch on Thursday.
Andrea has been a keen and intuitive cook from a very young age, baking with her Grandma and cooking up elaborate feasts for many guests with her parents.
She discovered my passion for a healthier approach to food and experienced first hand the powerful tool of nourishing the body through exercise and nutrition.
Andrea's style is relaxed, creative and innovative. She creates flavourful, beautiful dishes to nourish the body and the soul.
In 2021 she underwent an intensive training with Bettina Campolucci Bondi at her retreat chef academy in London, where she learned the ins and outs of Retreat cooking!
She works as a retreat chef, caterer and recipe developer and will be launching her own cookery school in the heart of the beautiful Kent country side later this year.
