The yoga school has three beautiful classrooms that are light and clean. There are also rooms for meditation and prayer. Because the group is no larger than 12 participants, there is plenty of room to move, but also to withdraw yourself. It is your journey within.
Program
You follow the age-old Raja and Bhakti yoga tradition. Jesus is standing central in the training as the greatest master and son of the father. In complete freedom and calmness, RCCY guides you to the center of your being until you too discover what it means when Jesus says 'I and the Father are one'. You will learn the true meaning of meditation and prayer through the eight steps of yoga (Patanjali).
In four modules, you will learn everything about yoga and Christ. This will lead you to your inner freedom. You will do an internship for a week or more depending on what you choose. Every day, there is an opportunity for a walk near the beautiful lake. If possible, you will also practice on the shore of the lake. The yoga school is created a wonderful atmosphere of calmness and tranquility.
Daily schedule
- 06:00 - 06:45 Morning meditation (starting every morning with practicing concentration and meditation and praying)
- 07:15 - 07:45 Vegetarian breakfast
- 08:15 - 11:15 'How do I teach' (didactic techniques or practice) - starting with how to teach the asanas, including the anatomy, chakra, every posture is a combination of concentration, meditation, and contemplation, learning to perceive on a physical, mental, and spiritual level. How can you connect yourself in attitude with the supreme God?
- 11:30 - 12:00 Vegetarian lunch
- 12:00 - 12:30 Christ yoga (Karma yoga) - helping clean the building and do other things which are necessary
- 13:00 - 15:00 Theoretical lecture (Bible study, Vedas, Yoga philosophy, Ayurveda) and self-study
- 15:30 - 17:00 Raja Christ-centered yoga (you will get there own Hatha yoga)
- 17:30 - 18:00 Vegetarian dinner
- 19:00 - 20:00 Evening meditation (end the day with prayer and meditation)
- 20:00 - 20:30 Herbal tea - time for relaxing
- 21:00 Lights out
Instructors
Marcel Bot
Marcel is a yoga master who has followed his training with one of the most influential yoga masters in Europe. After eight years of training, Marcel was initiated as a yoga acharya (master of yoga). He lives in the Netherlands where he has had his own yoga school for many years.

Please book your flight to arrive at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS). From the airport, it is very easy to travel to the ashram. A ticket will cost 11 EUR. There is a direct connection between the airport and the Hoorn Kersenboogerd. Once you arrive there, Yoga Loft Blokker will pick you up.

- A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
