The kitchen has been developed over time using regular consulting chefs with experience in Australia, UK, Thailand, and Hong Kong.

Dinner might start with ocean crab salad with spicy coconut sauce or lemongrass and lime leaves seafood soup, main fare from crispy skin snapper fillet with coconut lime, and dahl sauce upon mash to Rajasthan mutton curry with pandan steamed Basmati rice and fresh coriander. A full selection of Sri Lankan curries, of course, remains popular and has the whole household doing their beloved part in the kitchen. All rounded off with a choice of desserts.

Breakfast, which is included in all room rates, will typically offer subtle blends of fruit juices according to the season, eggs almost anyhow, pancakes, muesli, cereals, and some galvanising Sri Lankan starts to the day, all with a selection of Sri Lanka’s renowned teas or coffee. Lunch serves a variety of salads incorporating local lobster, prawns and tuna, a mixed tempura or mezze plate, or seafood risotto to name a few.

Daily morning tea, juice, and fresh local fruit, delicious, hearty brunch, and wholesome evening meal each day including authentic local Sri Lankan cuisine, salads, healthy curries, local seafood, and plenty of vegetarian options with fresh mineral water are available throughout your stay and included in the price. "I have been going to Sally’s classes for over a year now and she is hands down one of my favourite teachers. She is inspiring and calming. Her classes are dynamic and challenging without being too far out of my comfort zone. Her energy is spell bounding and I am totally transfixed when in her presence. She enables each person to push themselves whilst remaining equally obtainable to students of all levels. She is attentive and hands on and I feel like my yoga has progressed substantially under her guidance."
