"The meaning of setting an intention during my yoga practice finally kicked in tonight and took me completely by surprise. "

"I am very new to yoga and didn't really understand the meaning of the words. "

"So I did a little reading recently to grasp the deeper philosophy behind them and discovered it's more about what feels right for me right now or what my inner voice and heart is telling me my soul craves or maybe is missing."

"It doesn't really matter what my intention was; what does matter, though, is that once I raised my head and opened my eyes after that final Namaste, I was brought to tears. "

"What needed to come out at that moment came to the surface through the physical and emotional connection of my body and mind and the surface of my mat. "

"I am beginning to understand what setting an intention is all about."

"With thanks to Jen for a great class tonight."
