The venue has a large, light-filled hall for practicing yoga, a large dining room and expansive gardens, and close to bushwalking tracks, the beach and recreation areas. You can expect cleanliness, spaciousness, grand views, clean coastal waters, and privacy. The retreat is of an easy-going vibe and you are welcome to do as much or as little as you like.

There are two choices:

Share rooms for four people

Comfy single beds, each with its own bedside table and lamp. Very clean, simple and lovely. Beds have mosquito nets. The door walks you out to the garden and lawn area. The rooms are close to the share bathrooms. Linen is provided but you need to bring your own towel.


BYO Tent, bedding, and more. The perfect budget option and also great if you'd prefer your own room. There are expansive well-kept grounds around the buildings for this and you'll be close to the local wildlife such as the deer. The shared rooms and campers use the same bathrooms that are cleaned daily.


The program features:

Classes and satsangs lead by Mahamandaleshwar Swami Jasraj Puri. Swami Jasraj is a highly respected and inspiring yogi whose immersion in the authentic yogic practices and life in India has contributed to his deep insight and experiences. With his western background, they have the unique opportunity to learn from someone who can offer you these valuable ancient teachings in a modern and relevant context in a clear, down to earth manner. He will add a whole new awesome dimension to the New Year Retreat! Classes and workshops are facilitated by Madhu.

Madhu started teaching Yoga in Daily Life regularly from 1996 including advancing these activities to major international Yoga in Daily Life retreats and yoga teacher' workshops. Madhu has a Masters in Psychology and a Masters of Business (Executive MBA). She is an NLP master practitioner, professional coach, and organizational development consultant. Madhu's high professional qualifications combined with her intensive yoga teaching experience benefit all attendees by helping people understand themselves and others as well as how to develop good relationships thus making positive contributions to the community and world peace.

Practices are supported with guidance in the sessions plus opportunities to talk with the teachers and time to integrate your own experiences. The retreat also includes a morning walk through the Royal National Park and swim at the waterfall and a new year's eve bonfire. Yoga in Daily Life Australia teaches yoga in daily life. While completely true to the authentic tradition of classical yoga, it is designed to meet the needs of our modern times.

It is a holistic system of health, encompassing the science of body, mind, consciousness, and soul. For those new to yoga in daily life, Yoga in Daily Life Australia can describe it as a classical Hatha style. And people of all levels of yoga experience are welcome to this retreat.
