Eight breath-centered yoga practices a week will encourage you to breathe deep into your body to reap its profound effects on your whole being and moving in a way that feels great in your unique body that naturally ignites self-awareness flowing you deeper into your practice that organically awakened feelings of spaciousness, self-connection, balance and happiness.

Our family runs Pansiyon which just a few steps from the warm seas with miles of beautiful golden beaches to swim and relax and get a great suntan. The old town also has plenty of shops and cafes for you to sit and soak up the rich Turkish culture...so truly something for everyone!
Our yoga retreat Turkey is set in the Antik Town of Side it is very authentic and full of Turkish Culture and history, with miles of beaches, friendly cafes, sea view and harbor-side restaurants and cultural places of interest, all within walking distance.
We have 10 en-suite rooms (with no added single supplement). Our rooms are simple comfortable and are clean all with newly refurbished en-suite shower rooms. We provide a daily maid service and free Wifi internet connection for the duration of your stay. All rooms have outside seating area and some offer a shared terrace. We have double rooms for couples and twin rooms for students traveling with a friend.
This year we have added a wonderful indoor Yoga Studio. Yoga is practiced in our studio and in our courtyard garden; an oasis of Mediterranean flowers, plants and fruit trees.
Your first yoga practice of your yoga holidays in Turkey will be on Monday morning and the final practice will be on Friday evening. Below is the sample itinerary for each day. Class times may very slightly depending on the time of the season.
Yoga practice: Asana (yoga postures) Pranayama (breath work) relaxation.
Breakfast: Buffet style, including: cereal, muesli, yogurt, dried fuits, fresh fruits, local bread, cheese, vegetables, eggs, olives, honey, jam, tahini and (occasionally) pancakes! The rest of the day is yours to explore this fabulous area of Turkey.
Relax on one of the golden beaches just a short stroll walk away. Indulge in a holistic treatment or Turkish bath (Hammam) for a deeper relaxation. Visit the busy markets of nearby Manavgat, take a boat trip along the river or just chill-lax on the beanbags in our peaceful gardens.
You will also have a choice to enjoy optional assisted-self yoga practice.
Yoga practice: the evening sessions have more a relaxed workshop vibe, offering the opportunity to explore all the many varied and fascinating aspects of Yoga. This could include; focusing on certain postures or areas of the body, breathing practices, mantra, deep relaxation, meditation or Yoga Nidra.
On your first and last night join us for a welcome/farewell dinner, with traditional home-cooked Turkish food. The other evenings you are free to choose from the wide variety of restaurants and cafes in Side. There is something for everyone here: traditional Turkish, locally caught fish restaurants, Turkish pizza (pide) and not forgetting the original Turkish kebab!
Side (meaning pomegranate) is a resort town on the southern coast of Turkey, near the town of Manavgat, 75 km from Antalya. Surrounded by stunning ruins, including the waterside Temple of Apollo and a well preserved Roman amphitheatre, which still hosts colorful performances, Side is one of the best known classical sites in Turkey. Side's natural geography made it the most important place in Pamphylia from the Mediterranean to Mount Taurus. This location also made Side, Turkey one of the most important trade centers of its time. Today, the ancient city of Side is situated on a small north-south peninsula about 1 km long and 400 km across. Side is one of the Turkish Mediterranean's most attractive and Historical resorts.
Our yoga Turkey courses start on a Monday and end on a Friday as flights from the majority of UK airports fly out on a Saturday & Sunday. Our nearest airport is Antalya Airport. Travel time approx 3 hours 50 minutes from United Kingdom. You will need to book your own flights. Please note that if it is not possible to get a flight on a Saturday or Sunday, then please do contact me to check availability for you to arrive on another day. We do our very best to accommodate everyone.
Upon entry at the airport, you will need to pay 10 visa entry fee. You should produce your passport and 10 fee at passport control. If you choose our private transfer service, a member from Yoga Holidays Turkey will be at the airport to greet you and give you a safe comfortable direct transfer in your own private transfer mini-bus for a journey of only 55 minutes.

Side is a lot of things to do, from lovely walks along the beautiful turquoise Mediterranean beaches, to visiting one of Side many historical sites all within walking distance to our centre. We can organize your own private boat trip with our very own Captain Metin along the beautiful blue Manavgat river, laze on the decks taking in many a beautiful site, stopping for a BBQ on the deserted beach. A fab day out.
You can hire bicycles for the duration of your stay to explore Side and the surrounding areas a great way to get around.
If diving is your thing, there is a diving school offering daily dives and can be booked just a short stroll away at the beautiful harbor.
Take a trip in to mountains for a real Turkish experience, visit a village family, mosque and many a wonderful site. You also can take a gentle walk to visit many of the historical sites. Walking around Side is magical it really feels like a step back in time. The roads are strewn with roman columns, ruins and a lovely museum to help you put all the history together. With its beautiful amphitheater that is still in working order hosting concerts opera and ballet. Or simply stroll to the golden beaches under a minute away and soak up the sunshine and bathe in the warm turquoise sea.
Experience one of the most traditional methods of bathing in an authentic Turkish Hammam. A totally pampering, relaxing experience to prepare your skin for that fabulous holiday tan. Relax in a warm room and feel the stresses of everyday life drift away. You will experience a full body scrub with an exfoliating glove whilst you relax on the warm marble table. The olive soap soft massage is a relaxing and wonderful experience, this will be followed with a full body massage, leaving you wonderfully clean and totally relaxed a great way to start your holiday.
