Enter a journey that will reconnect the mind, body, and the soul through the help of the blissful nature. Everyday of this retreat will have a different focus on a different part of the body, working out energies from head to toes. By using the complex chakra system as a guide, the possibilities of exploring Hatha and Dynamic yoga, root grounding postures, fire core postures, heart opening back ends, and other powerful postures, this adventure will take you to the next level of relaxation and deepness.
One of the most special things about the accommodation is the yurts. Guests are always very pleasantly surprised by just how comfortable everything is, and how well the systems for water heating, electricity, and heating inside the yurts in the cooler months work. The yurts can also easily accommodate couples in smaller yurts for two.
All yurts and bell tents have electricity, solar reading lamps, shelving, and some have storage space, carpets, and rugs. All the beds have mosquito nets. Yurts are shared with a maximum of one or two others. There is also the option to offer one single yurt per week, at a single supplement rate.
Bathrooms and toilets are shared by a maximum of five guests. As sustainable living is being encouraged, all bathrooms have solar heated hot water and eco-composting toilets. The bathrooms and toilets are built in a modern style using wood from land, they are clean, comfortable, and totally green. The other yurts are located nearby, one is suitable for single accommodation, and the smaller yurt for two people. The yurts have lighting and electricity for charging phones and laptops.
Situated near Coimbra, Portugal, this retreat offers a chance to truly get back to nature, while enjoying outdoor yoga, and delicious vegetarian meals, amongst the forests of central Portugal. The yoga deck is brilliantly placed at the top of valley, which allows the morning sun to warm up the body, and the afternoon breeze to refresh it, as well as allowing the eye to take in the stunning views down the valley.

The food served for this retreat are delicious wholesome, raw vegan, and vegetarian dishes. The vegetables used for the dishes are from an organic garden and locally sourced fruit and vegetables. A lot of time is spent to prepare the food for all guests, and much love and effort is put into it. The food served is approximately 80 percent vegan, and 30 to 40 percent raw.
Breakfast is self service with seasonal fruits, a selection of cereals, toasted sourdough, and local corn bread, accompanied by homemade jam or marmalade. A selection of tea (green, black, and herbal) and coffee is available throughout the day. Lunches are fresh garden salads, grain salads, falafel or Spanish omelette, usually served with a variety of raw dips, nut pates, or hoummus.
Evening meals include a variety of curries with biryani rice or coconut rice, vegetable noodles with stir-fried tofu and vegetables, moussaka and salad, spiced potatoes with honey aubergine and couscous. Please inform in case of any special dietary requirements, offer gluten free and lactose free options are available upon request.
Each last night of each week is being closed with a bonfire and lighting in the woods. This gives guests a chance to soak tired yoga muscles, relax, and have a little party under the stars. Often musicians join in the group, to play guitar or drums, and accompany the evening.

Guests usually spend most of their time relaxing on sun loungers, or in hammocks, reading a book from the yoga library.
In between yoga classes and meals, guests often walk to the reservoir to cool down. The reservoir is located 20 to 30 minutes by walking from the Cabril reservoir. It is also close to several local wild swimming locations for guests with cars.

Guests often enjoy a walk to the local village, where there are two cafes, and small shops selling snacks, drinks, ice cream, and other goods.
A local therapist can be requested to offer spa treatments during the week. The cost of one session is between 40 EUR and 50 EUR.
There is a wide a selection of local therapists available to provide treatments for guests, depending on the retreat week. Often the yoga teachers offer various treatments. Jo Tison offers Reiki and Thai massage. Sharkles Wallace offers holistic massage, Reiki, and Altai massage. Spiros offeres seated Shiatsu. Blanche Mulholland offers Shiatsu. Melanie will be offering Ayurvedic massage, foot reflexology, sound sessions, and AromaTouch Treatment. Local therapist Aoife Carter specialises in Myofascia release, and other techniques to work with issues within the body, or recovery from injury and trauma.

The bus from Lisbon is at 03:45 p.m is arriving in Pedrogao Grande at 07:30 p.m. The bus from Porto is at 05:00 p.m, arriving in Pedrogao Grande at 07:30 p.m. Please plan your flights accordingly. Buses leave Pedrogao Grande on Saturday morning at 07:45 a.m and 09:00 a.m, this gives guests plenty of time for their connecting flights home, if travelling on the same day. Please note that the retreat price includes transfer from Pedrogao Grande upon arrival. Some guests may have to take a taxi back to the bus on the Saturday, a taxi costs 18 EUR. In Lisbon you can catch a bus or taxi from the airport to Sete Rios bus station. In Porto the Rede Expressos terminal is nearest to Sao Bento metro station. Transport can be arranged with a minimum of four people or more, that can be collected from the airport.
