Join Ali and the Well Garden to make a winter escape to magical mother India, the birthplace of yoga. Ali will be retreating to Goa jungle and hopes you can join for an elemental exploration of yoga, sound, and creativity. Healthy food and treatments will help you harness the healing power of nature. You will set an intention for a transformational journey through the five great elements - earth, water, fire, air, and ether - exploring their interplay within your body, mind, and life.
All ages are welcome as participants.
During this course, you will be staying at Khaama Kethna, an inspiring community based around sustainability, wellness, and creativity. Long term residents also stay here to work on permaculture, healing, and artistic projects. Simple but comfortable eco accommodation weaves its way around the trees, constructed from low impact, local materials like bamboo, clay, and mud.
Open air showers and compost loos enjoy the privacy of surrounding plants and there's plenty of home comfort, with big beds and carved portuguese furniture decorating the rooms
Your home away from home is the Khaama Kethna eco-retreat in Goa, India. Situated in a lush cashew plantation, it is a haven of sustainability and peace, within walking distance of Agonda beach.
Nesting on top of a hillside looking over a jungly valley, Khaama Kethna is a tranquil forest garden approximately 12.5 acres big. The center has a panoramic backdrop of the beautiful green hilltops of Agonda village. The ambience lends itself to the depth and profundity of endless silence and stillness that encourages one to quietly contemplate, reflect, and explore the journey within oneself.
The adventure begins with February's new moon, setting an intention for a transformational journey through the five great elements, earth, water, fire, air, and ether, exploring their interplay within your body, minds, and lives.
Sound honors the sacred vibration of mother nature and art's form. You are invited to nurture your creative side and learn the art of meditation in the sacred yantra making workshop with Kat. A yantra (meaning tool, machine or instrument in Sanskrit) brings the divine into form through the combination of various geometric shapes and patterns. Spend a peaceful afternoon drawing, painting, and meditating with the yantra that most resonates with you.
The yoga program offers a balance of strength and flexibility, Yang and Yin, flow and stillness, brushing up on your technique and allowing an inner inquiry. You will learn Ayurvedic principles and yoga philosophy, delivered with a sense of fun.
You are invited to dive deeply into your practice and your true nature, with the support and guidance of the teaching team. Ali will be sharing a gong bath with you each evening, joined by the song of tropical birds and leaves rustling in the gentle breeze. The pyramid and banyan tree yoga shalas invite you to remember the body's oneness with mother nature.
Please book your flight to arrive at Goa International Airport (GOI).

Ali is trained in the Akhanda style, which means wholeness, of Yogrishi Vishvketu in Rishikesh, and places a strong emphasis on breath and inner inquiry. Her work in holistic yoga therapy is based on an understanding of the koshas, which she studied in Kerala under the Vashista Yoga school of Saji PK. Yoga has led Ali to finally making friends with her body and it has become the blueprint for Ali’s life off the mat.
