Yoga Retreats (1)
Believes each person’s yoga journey is unique and wants to provide each person the support they deserve to achieve their own personal goals. Her journey on the path of yoga began in 2005. She had just completed a grueling round of breast cancer treatments and was physically and emotionally broken. She needed something to get her life back on track and to find a renewed sense of energy. She tried a Hatha yoga class and she immediately found herself on the path to health and happiness.
Her goal as a yoga teacher is to inspire kindness, compassion, and love towards others, and most importantly towards one's self. She attended her first yoga class at the age of 16 at a local community center. She was immediately drawn to the practice by the fusion of body, mind, and breath in a challenging and rewarding exercise. After her first 40 days Yoga challenge in the spring of 2010, she was hooked on yoga and began to practice on a daily basis. She pursued her yoga career by attending the 200 hour Yoga Alliance teacher training in the summer of 2011, and has taught full time since.
