Yoga for Bad People is a yoga based company focused on leading retreats, emerging from the combined visions of Katelin Sisson and Heather Lilleston.
Yoga Alliance RYT 300 (Jivamukti Yoga)
A natural athlete, Katelin grew up in Rhode Island, where physical activity was a part of her daily life. She grew up believing in the virtues of discipline in a strict exercise regime. Through time, she developed a curiosity about the role the mind plays during physical activity. She was drawn to yoga for its reverence of the mind-body relationship. In 2008, Katelin completed the Jivamukti 300-hour teacher training with Sharon Gannon and David Life and later that year, apprenticed with Rima Rabbath in an 800-hour Jivamukti apprenticeship program.
Originally from Arizona, Kat began a regular practice in 2006. She has the deepest respect for how it not only inspires change, but allows a gradual return to who you are meant to be. Her classes encourage movement of the body to invigorate the breath and to maintain a present and attentive mind. She creates a unique and challenging sequence imbued with traditional asanas and attention to detail. Every body is different and her goal is to help each recognize the benefits of building a balanced body, a full breath, and a more awakened sense of being.
