For water activities, you will float down the pristine, clear waters of Rock Springs, where you will see an array of wild birds, otters, and even fish, as well as marine plant life. You have the luxury of disconnecting from your devices and regular lives to immerse yourselves in nature during this retreat.
You're invited to embrace every gift that Mother Earth has to offer, from the butterflies to the rain showers—you are gifted the lesson in it all.
Your day will start and end with meditations, and you will be guided through Yin, Vinyasa, and stand-up paddleboard yoga. The retreats are meant for connection—with yourself, with nature, and with others.
It's okay if you have never practiced yoga before! What better way to try something new than to fully immerse yourself? All classes offered on the retreat are beginner-friendly, and everything is optional and modifiable. They also offer private 60-minute yoga sessions that you can add to your experience after booking.
Yoga Elements Retreats typically offer between five and six yoga classes per weekend. They know, this sounds like a lot, but don't worry, these classes include up to two Vinyasa flow classes, one paddleboard class, one yoga Nidra class, one Yin yoga class, and one Chair / Restorative class. These are all very different styles of yoga and the ideal balance between active and restful. All classes are optional.
Whitney has been a yoga practitioner since 2017 and is a certified yoga teacher. She is a native of central Florida and lives in a small town off of the East Coast with her husband, two young sons, and their Labrador Retriever. She truly believes that yoga is the beginning of the path back to herself and has used it, personally, to evolve in her physical, emotional, and mental states. Her biggest aspiration is to combine adventure with the healing practice of yoga to share with guests along their own journeys in life.
Erin is a self-proclaimed connection specialist. Her passion is to bring others together through guiding yoga classes and workshops, officiating weddings, or through her role as a birth doula. She is a 500-hour registered yoga teacher and continues to dive into trainings to stay relevant and to help quench her curious mind. She is also certified in prenatal yoga and BUTI yoga. Erin currently resides in Palm Coast, Florida with her husband, two sons, and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, paddleboarding, making jewelry, and of course, being on her yoga mat.
