The yoga will be held on a floating home, the ''Seaborn Legend'', a 27 meters long wooden gullet, with 8 en suite cabins, two sunny decks, an indoor, and outdoor dining area and the friendliest crew in the Aegean.

You will spend seven days gliding through the turquoise waters, breathing in the smell of the sea and pine trees, and enjoying the benefits of daily yoga practices. You start and finish your days with an hour long yoga practice on the sunny deck of our boat.

    The yoga classes

The morning classes are Hatha yoga classes, with focus on a proper alignment and always taught with a specific topic in mind such as back bending, breath awareness, balancing, etc. Each class will be organized as a small workshop designed to deepen your understanding of different aspects of asana practice. The classes are suitable both for experienced practitioners and for beginners - the former will develop their practice further and discover new ways in which they can approach it, while the latter will have the opportunity to learn the basics and have a kick start on their yogic journey.

In the afternoon classes, you will have a more gentle restorative practice followed by a half hour long guided meditation. Although yoga postures are taught in these classes as well, the focus is on the breath, conscious movement, deep relaxation (yoga Nidra - yogic sleep), and meditation.

    Daily life on board

After the morning yoga and a delicious traditional Turkish breakfast, you will set sails for the next exciting undiscovered bay, where you can swim, snorkel, paddle a canoe boat, or just savor the sun and the view until lunch time. After lunch, you will move to a new place, where you will go for a two or three hours long hiking, exploring archaeological ruins, visiting a local family, or taking in unspoiled nature. The hikes will usually lead to the top of an island, providing you with a great spot to admire the colors of the sunsets and the surrounding nature. Depending on the terrain and weather conditions, you might decide to have the evening yoga or meditation class on land. In the evenings, you will enjoy yet another freshly prepared meal on the boat under the stars.

Apart from some of the clearest waters that you will find in the Mediterranean, sea turtles and dolphins that you will be seeing on the way, and the unspoiled nature all around us, these are some of the places of interest that you will visit on your hikes:

    St. Nicholas Island

    • Apart from its scattered Byzantine ruins, it also features a somewhat flattened top - the perfect spot for your evening yoga and meditation practice.

    • Kayaky is a ghost town which until the 1960s was populated by Greeks. The area is now alive with plenty of artistic workshops and small cafes.

    Kapda Peninsula

You will have a chance to visit the only inhabitant of Kapda Peninsula, share a cup of tea and a cup of conversation with him, and explore the ancient ruins in his backyard. You will also visit the ancient Lycian rock carved tombs.

    Cleopatras Bath

    • Half-sunken remains of a Roman Bath, popularly known as Cleopatras Bath - wonderful introduction to underwater archaeology.

    Aa Limani Peninsula

It is famous with its wealth of archaeological ruins from Lycians, Romans, and Ottomans. You will visit one of the very few nomadic families still living here. Besides, there are still many other hidden peaks and coves, which are so small and obscure that they dont even have an official name, but they will still blow you away with their beauty.

This retreat will take place on Yoga Cruise Turkey which will sail along the Turkish turquoise coast.

"The food was the best I have ever had on any trip; freshly made at every meal and a 5 p.m. teatime. Ali made sure to ask about allergies and dietary restrictions and was very nice about providing appropriate foods for all of our group."

"My Blue Cruise gave me a unique experience of the Turkish turquoise coast; a combination of daily yoga classes on board Seaborn Legend, exploring the unspoiled nature and the rich archaeological remains of the islands in Gocek Bay National Park and an authentic experience of Turkish cuisine and hospitality on board. A week spent cruising, doing yoga and walking the scenic paths on the islands left me feeling fully refreshed and rejuvenated. I would recommend their yoga and general cruises to anyone wishing to have a peaceful week of enjoying nature."

"I took the cruise from Fethiye to Olympos, I highly recommend this for a super relaxing four days on the Mediterranean. I was on Captain Soner's boat and he and his crew were excellent! Just watch out when booking airport transfers, though, the transfer from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye was 55 EUR (which was not communicated up front). I recommend taking the airport shuttle bus marked Fethiye, the buses just outside at the arrival pick-up points, then take a taxi to your hotel once in Fethiye. Also, unless you have something specific you plan to see in Olympos, skip this and take the bus directly from Demzri to Antalya or your next destination. All in all a super experience for the solo traveler."

"We had such a lovely stay in Turkey, one of the many highlights was seeing the beautiful 12 islands region, surrounding Fethiye, on a yoga cruise. Stunning crystal clear waters and a different island to explore every day. The Seaborn Legend is a beautifully maintained wooden yacht, with plenty of space and private cabins, as well as a panoramic deck to sit back to enjoy the sun and fresh air. Hiking up to old ruins on the islands, snorkeling in Cleopatra's baths and being spoiled with delicious, fresh meals prepared by the experienced and friendly crew. I would definitely recommend this cruise if you are looking to see the most beautiful beaches and countryside. It was a great way to relax and unwind after our seven-day hike along the Lycian Way."

"We had a great time cruising with these guys. We all felt very welcome once we were on board, the staff is really friendly and so was the rest of the passengers. The boat was spacious and there are plenty of places to lounge about and read a book. We had four days on the boat and we all felt very relaxed by the end of the trip. The food was fantastic and I loved having fresh coffee in the morning. Thanks, guys, if we come back to Turkey we will jump on board again. "

"I joined a yoga cruise with My Blue Cruise in September 2015 and had an excellent experience. Here are my highlights: the staff on board the boat are some of the friendliest, accommodating, hospitable people in Turkey I have met on my trip so far. They are also very knowledgeable of the Lycian and Ottoman history in this region. The sunrise and sunset yoga with visiting yoga teacher; it was amazing to practice yoga in such a stunning environment, surrounded by the clearest turquoise waters and spotting turtles while we practiced. The spectacular snorkeling; every bay we visited I snorkeled with many giant turtles. Hiking the Lycian Coast and visiting ancient ruins. The food on board is excellent, there is a lot of variety. I am vegetarian and had many dishes to choose from in every meal. The cabins are clean and comfortable; however, I always chose to sleep under the stars. It was amazing to wake up to incredible sunrises. The staff and the rest of the passengers on board were all really friendly, laid-back, and relaxed. It is possible to have many moments of being social but also to find a quite place on the boat for solitude and me-time. I would go back in a heartbeat! I know there are lots of interesting yoga cruises they are running next year. Check them out!"

"After being on a Blue Cruise this spring, there was no question that we wanted to spend our summer vacation on the Seaborn Legend again! Although we chose the same route, the cruise was completely different; since we were taken to other marvelous bays and places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed captain Ali's and his crew's hospitality, delicious food, sea and nature at its best, the stars at night, and the sunrise in the early mornings. Practicing and teaching yoga on the boat is an unforgettable experience; there is certainly no nicer yoga space than the deck of the Seaborn Legend. If you like crystal clear waters, fresh air, silence, good company of like-minded travelers, excellent food, and sleeping under the stars, and you do not like crowded beaches and overrated hotels, you will definitely enjoy this cruise! This is a perfect vacation with kids, who know and enjoy swimming. We will again recommend this cruise from every point of view."

"A fantastic way to visit a bit of Turkey's Mediterranean coast to see world-famous natural attractions, intense blue sea, and lush islands. For a few days, we were guests on a lovely, traditional Turkish gullet boat, sailing alongside the coast and stopping at many interesting islands and beaches to swim and rest. The cruise continued for a few days, including sleeping on the deck at night under the stars! All meals were included; including grilled chicken and fish, we never felt hungry. Although drinks were not included, they were fairly priced. The experience was made extra enjoyable by a friendly and experienced boat crew, who were always cheery and attentive. I could not recommend this trip more."
