This teacher training course will enable you to create your own Yin yoga class with a therapeutic approach incorporating the meridian therapy, sequencing for a group class, or one to one. You will be able to work with clients and learn how to assess the client and structure asanas and breath for specific needs. You will be staying at a traditional Moorish-style villa, situated in the countryside about 10 miles south of Marrakech. The boutique villa is close to the beautiful Atlas Mountains and Marrakech just a 15-minute drive away.

The villa is set within a spacious garden with swimming pool and beautiful views of the Atlas Mountains. The accommodation is all on one level, with all the rooms leading off from a large central atrium. The bedrooms are down a hallway to the left of the atrium, while the kitchen and dining areas are to the right.

The sitting room is in the southwest corner of the house, next to the Moroccan living room, which is equipped with TV, video, and DVD. Doors open from the sitting room and living room to a covered terrace, with views over the garden towards the swimming pool.

  • Dawn Boulanoff

    Dawn is a highly recognized teacher. Her style of yoga is Hatha yoga for the body and mind. Dawn also teaches yoga flows, Iyengar, yoga Nidra, Restorative yoga, yoga for cancer and revitalization for the endocrine system. Dawn is one of three teachers qualified in the UK as a hormonal yoga teacher. Dawn is a registered teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga or The Governing Body of the UK. Having taught for over 25 years, she is a trainer for new teachers and has inspired many student teachers to reach their full potential with her excellent teaching and knowledge.

The retreat will be held in Marrakech, Morocco. Marrakech has the largest souk in Morocco and its main square, Jemaa-el-Fna, is alive by day with everything from acrobats, storytellers, snake charmers, and musicians. During the night, it becomes a huge open-air restaurant offering traditional Moroccan cuisine.

During this retreat, you will be served with three daily fresh produce and healthy cuisine included in the package.

Excursions can be arranged for trekking, climbing, horse riding, quad biking, and hot air ballooning. Camel treks can also be arranged in the Marrakech Palmeraie or in the Sahara Desert.

    "Sultan Gardens Resort is a well-appointed and well-maintained resort, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The resort has its own stretch of beach along the coral reef, snorkeling should be a must for anyone visiting. The staff at the resort were very friendly and accommodating. The inclusive meals and drinks were all of the good quality. The resort itself was very peaceful with no shortage of sunbeds around the pools or beach. Our room was large and comfortable with a great sea view, the satellite television had English news and film channels. The purpose of our visit was for my wife to attend a yoga retreat which I joined in with and found it a very rewarding experience, with yoga classes both in the morning and late afternoon taking place in a canopied area overlooking the sea. The yoga teacher Dawn was very friendly and welcoming. All in all, this was a great resort, good value for money, and one which I will look forward to returning."

    "I live a very busy life as a single mom trying to find balance in my life. I decided to go on Dawns yoga retreat. I never did yoga before but needing the sun in March, relaxation, and the wonderful hotel, clinched the deal. The lovely Dawn was there to meet, greet us, and welcome us to Egypt. The yoga started at 8 a.m. Dawn sincerely spoke us through each movement and as a beginner, I didn't feel at all out of place. We all worked at our own pace and it didn't take me long to see the benefits of yoga by the end of the week. I felt energized, relaxed, and slept better than I had for months. I fully embraced the spirituality feeling that every class gave me and found it enlightening to learn that I hold my stress and anxiety in my sinus. It explained a lot to me on a personal basis and Dawn being an excellent wonderful teacher helped me to release this.
