Accommodation

You will be staying at Domaine Akhda Villa, a beautiful villa surrounded by tranquility and peace.The villa has three double bedrooms with private pool. The view of paradise is only 20 minutes away from the airport. These luxury villas in Marrakech benefit from an exceptional natural setting with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Atlas.

The villa will be exclusive to you, with luxury private pool, and gardens. In a private estate of nine acres of olive groves entirely fenced, these villas are close to a golf course. With Domaine Akhda, you will have access to all common facilities such as tennis, club house, petanque, table tennis, a spa with hammam, and Anny Atounn treatment room (with participation).

All elements are naturally provided for your comfort in Villa Akhdar such as air conditioning, internet access, iPod base, satellite television, and DVD player. In winter, there will be a wood fire to complement your evening.

Day 1

  • Arrival, relax, settle, and unwind
  • Afternoon and evening session of yoga and meditation
  • 19:30 Dinner

Day 2

  • 07:30 Wake up for yoga
  • 08:00 Yoga and meditation class (75 to 90 minutes)
  • 09:30 Breakfast buffet
  • 11:00 Free time
  • 13:00 Pilates or yoga sessions
  • 15:30 Workshop
  • 17:00 Partner assisted yoga and meditation session

Day 3

  • 07:00 Wake up for a juice
  • 08:00 Yoga and meditation class
  • 09:00 Breakfast buffet
  • 11:00 Free time
  • 18:00 Yoga and meditation

There will be an afternoon class of Pilates.

Day 4

  • 07:00 Wake up to meditation

Meditation session will be followed by breakfast and departure.

These times may be subject to change on location but Yoga Conscious will endeavor to offer a full program.

Instructors

Dawn Boulanoff
Dawn is a highly recognized yoga teacher. Her style is Hatha yoga for the body and mind. Dawn also teaches yoga flows, Iyengar, Nidra, and Restorative yoga. Dawn is one of the three teachers in the UK qualified as a hormonal yoga teacher. Dawn is a registered teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga or The Governing Body of the UK. Having taught for over 25 years, she is a trainer for new teachers and has inspired many student teachers to reach their full potential with her excellent teaching and knowledge.
Richard Pryor
Richard is a former Royal Marine Commando and runs yoga, Pilates PT, amputees mobilization, yoga and fitness retreats, sessions functional training, and injury solutions. He first got into yoga following several injuries and used this platform to self rehabilitate himself then developed these sessions to advance his practice. Richard is a teacher trainer and runs retreats worldwide and in Europe. Richard's style of yoga will be suitable for beginner to advanced students with a great sense of humor.

Retreat location

The retreat will be held in Marrakech, Morocco.

Food

During this retreat, you will be served daily delicious breakfasts and dinners along with refreshments. All the meals are inspired by the resident chef and have the oriental and Mediterranean cuisine. The food is also cooked daily with fresh ingredient. Each evening a delicious meal will be served. Most dishes are depending on the season and may not be available the whole year. If you have any special dietary requirements due to allergies, please inform Yoga Conscious prior to your arrival.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 34% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 37 days before arrival.
