Scaravelli-inspired yoga and Deep Rest meditation teacher, an approach to body wisdom that awakens the spine to find freedom and strength of the movement.
Yoga Retreats (1)
Julie has been teaching yoga since 2007 mostly to small groups, one to one, retreats and workshops. She is inspired by the work of Vanda Scaravelli and her work as a biodynamic craniosacral practitioner. She offers yoga as a gift to yourself, a place to come back to the heart, a letting go of the mechanics of posture and encouraging a deep listening. A space of allowing that frees the breath awakens the spine, reconnects us to ground. Finding deeper levels of awareness where the body can open, freedom of movement express itself and our inherent health, vitality, and wholeness rekindle itself.
Emma is trained in both MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) and Mindfulness for primary children - Paws B Teacher (Mindfulness in Schools Project). Emma feels passionate that each one of us has the ability to change or discard unhelpful learned ways of being and allow the best of you to shine. With this in mind, they have created an open, safe and supportive environment to allow learning and sharing to flourish. Throughout the retreat, she will be there to assist you in learning these new skills, providing both group and individual instruction.

"Great weekend of meditative yoga practice"
The yoga was very mindful and well instructed. Julie gave the participants a lot of personal attention if needed and instructed the asanas very well. She had a very warm, welcoming presence and made me feel at home.
