Nurture yourself in this women-only eco-retreat set amongst restorative woodland. Indulge in expert-led poetry writing and yoga workshops, designed to elevate the meditative and creative qualities of each other. Enjoy the wood-fired eco-spa, Japanese Shirin-Yoku forest bathing, a fully-catered vegetarian menu, and campfire evenings under the stars.
Accomodation will be in the great outdoors (do not worry if you are not a seasoned camper because Hill Farm has more luxurious glamping options). You can choose to stay in a yurt shared with one other, a bell tent you will have all to yourself, your own campervan, or keep it simple and enjoy nights under canvas in your own trusty tent. There is one shared, twin room with a view inside the farmhouse as an option for those who prefer to sleep inside.
Yoga Body Bliss offers a programme of practices created to enhance the body-mind connection and elevate the meditative qualities of each other: expert-led yoga, poetry writing, and forest bathing workshops with all tuition suitable for complete beginners to intermediate levels.
In this magical women's retreat, you and the others come together to blossom and connect with the dawn of spring and all it signifies. Light, colours, intuition, femininity, and the creative instincts that arise when we entwine, trust, unweave and grow. You will share a sacred, safe space of support in which you can flourish with ideas, words, movement, and connectivity. The power of yoga, poetry writing and nature combine to awaken our souls.
Upon our arrival on Friday afternoon, we introduce ourselves & share meditation in our opening circle, followed by our first Nourishing Yoga Flow session with Cae, to ground & earth us into our woodland weekend. After we will enjoy a delicious vegetarian 3 course meal and a campfire evening under the stars sharing some favourite poems guided by Vanessa.
Rising with a warm beverage & fruit, we start our morning, gentle Glow Flow Yoga with Cae tapping into to our inner voice & creative intuition. After a yummy, warming breakfast we explore deep into the beautiful woodland around Hill Farm with our meditative session of Japanese Shirin Yoku forest bathing. We tune into the essence of nature & inspiration of the trees. A nutritious lunch follows, then an afternoon Poetry Writing with Vanessa. The evening allows us to relax fully as we enjoy the wood-fired eco spa including hot tub, sauna and plunge pool. Home-made vegan & vegetarian pizzas in the outside oven for dinner. Bedtime Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra ease us into slumber.
Rising with a warm beverage & fruit, we enjoy our Chakra Shine Flow with Cae to balance our energy and further ignite our inner creative lights. Breakfast is served then our second Poetry Writing session commences with Vanessa, letting our bright ideas turn to words & rhythm. A yummy lunch is followed by our Closing Circle of meditation & reflection from the weekend. We celebrate each other and the coming together of our wonderful souls. 2.30 pm is our time of departure and farewell.
Last year some of the ladies requested additional time exploring the area and staying an extra night. For those who would like en extended weekend, you can go on a 2-hour hike along Wordsworth Walk where some of his famous poetry was written. Hill Farm has kindly offered an extra night's stay upon request of 50 GBP per person.
Also, expect time in the wood-fired eco-spa, including a hot tub, sauna, and plunge pool, a session of Shirin Yoku forest bathing, a stunning circular hike along Wordsworth Walk, plus a fully-catered, delicious menu of vegetarian foods & campfire evenings sharing readings and affirmations or cozy contemplation.
Cae Ellison is a fully qualified 450 hour Royal Yoga alliance (RYA) Yoga Instructor with a range of specialist experience, plus a fully certified Massage Therapist. She has coordinated yoga & wellness holidays in the UK and abroad, especially Ibiza where she used to live. Her formation of Yoga Body Bliss blossomed from her love of healthy living, the sun, the sea and the Spanish vitality for life. She loves to make yoga & bodywork accessible to all ages & levels of student, helping people to enhance their sport & lifestyle and to shine brightly.
Hill Farm is a beautiful 15 acre eco-retreat centre overlooking the stunning Wye Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Open paddocks, meadows and brooks nestled into the wonderful woodland provides a restorative, yet uplifting sanctuary for the glamping accomodation: comfy 12ft &18ft yurts with log burners, snug bell tents and space to pitch your own tent or park your van for a more budget, yet homely option. One room with a view in the farmhouse, is available for a couple or friends who prefer an indoor option.
Many walks and hikes take us through the woodland and valley exploring vast green nature all around, including Wordsworth Walk: a famous hike where Wordsworth sat and wrote some of his well known poems. The historical village of Tintern attracts many visitors each year, famous for it's Abbey and the wild River Wye running through it's centre with cycle routes and riverside strolls all around.

There are trains from the UK to Bristol or Chepstow. From there, you can take a bus or taxi to Tintern.
Other public transport can bring you to Tintern Village where Yoga Body Bliss can come and meet you.
