Program

Week 1 - Refinement

  • Find mastery in your personal practice, in asana and beyond
  • Explore advanced asanas such as arm balances and inversions, as well as more complex transitions
  • Discover, through an anatomical lens, what is limiting you from progressing further in a particular asana
  • Develop advanced knowledge in anatomy that will give you more confidence in your teaching
  • Learn the science of sequencing and how to create sequences that are intelligent, unique, and offer transformational potential
  • Build or enhance your daily practice of pranayama and meditation

Week 2 - Expansion

  • Explore a variety of injuries and illnesses that may be encountered through teaching and learn how to best support them
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge on the needs of pre and postnatal women, and learn how to structure specific classes, or simply modify poses for these students
  • Master how to read bodies and understand what limitations might be present
  • Become confident in providing both verbal and hands-on adjustments
  • Explore Yoga Biomechanics and understand whether or not there are poses that are inherently dangerous
  • Learn injury prevention/mitigation techniques to incorporate both in your practice and your teaching

Week 3 - Implementation

  • Teach, observe, and/or assist a full-length asana class
  • Gain confidence in guiding others through pranayama and meditation
  • Discover new ways to use and incorporate props
  • Explore various themes and learn how to weave them throughout a class
  • Obtain new sources of inspiration for your personal practice and your teaching
  • Uncover who you are as a teacher, and learn the importance of teaching from a place of authenticity
  • Understand the significance of adaptability and gain confidence in completely altering your class plan as circumstances require

Week 4 - Specialization

  • Discover how you can stand out as a teacher
  • Learn how to develop a dedicated student base
  • Explore advanced workshops such as Acro/Partner Yoga, savasana adjustments, Ayurveda, and mudras
  • Gain a better understanding of how to market yourself and your offerings
  • Learn the qualities that yoga studios look for when hiring
  • Plan a retreat or workshop with expert guidance from your teachers

Yoga Bliss is located on Lembongan island, which is just 30 minutes away from Bali by boat. As many say, it is like Bali used to be 20 years ago, before the immense amount of tourism hit. White sandy beaches, turquoise blue water, a perfectly spiritual place. This island paradise continues to be a must visit in Bali, a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate, away from all of the traffic jams and hawkers.

The Yoga Bliss shala is in the heart of Lembongan and close to all amenities. Restaurants, shops, and the beach are all only five minutes away. Everything is really close on the island as the size is just 8 square kilometers.

Food is important as it is what keeps us functioning. You choose what you eat but sometimes you lose track and it can be hard in your busy world to take care of yourself. What you eat affects your body and your mind in a different way.

During your training with Yoga Bliss, you will have the time to explore new food, a new way of eating and cleansing, It will always be a choice coming from you and Yoga Bliss will not ask you to follow a particular path.

Yoga Bliss will provide you three meals a day of healthy local food at the Green Garden Eco Warung, located at the same place from the shala. You will have the choice between vegan, vegetarian, and meat/fish options.

Please book your flight to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS).

Arrival by boat

Lembongan is a 30-minutes ride from Sanur, Bali. To get here, please book online a transfer with Rocky Fast Boat or Sugriwa Express or take a taxi to the harbor where you will be able to find a lot of companies to bring you to Nusa Lembongan.
