Join Yoga Bliss for a yoga and surf immersion retreat on the beautiful Nusa Lembongan, Bali. Build on or deepen your practice of yoga and learn to surf or develop your surfing techniques. You will emerge with a broader knowledge base of yoga techniques such as Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yin. This 10-day program will combine two of your favorite activities, yoga, surfing, and as well as a snorkeling trip with the Manta Rays!
Yoga Bliss also offers a personalized retreat that will cater to all of your needs, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your time on our beautiful paradise island.
Yoga Bliss offers two different types of accommodation:
A brand-new comfortable private wooden bungalow located on-site at Yoga Bliss. Rooms are fully furnished with a fridge, AC, private terrace and private bathroom. Please see the photos above in the gallery for photos of the bungalows.
Yoga Bliss has two partner guesthouses.
Same price as Green Garden Bungalows: Tiki bar and more is located a small 4-5 minute walk away. You will be staying in your own room with double bed, AC, private bathroom, balcony and swimming pool.
(Budget accommodation) The second one, Hokita Guesthouse, is located 3-4 minute walk from Yoga Bliss You will be staying in your own room with double bed, AC, private bathroom, balcony and swimming pool.
Please select whichever accommodation best suits you. Please note that Yoga Bliss have limited bungalows and they get booked up fast.
Yoga Bliss offers a flexible and personalized program allowing you to have a retreat that is best suited for you. Your day will start with an energizing yoga class followed by a healthy breakfast including juice, tea, and coffee at our onsite local restaurant which caters to vegetarians and vegans. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the wonders of our island paradise, participating in activities such as surfing or snorkeling or just chilling out on one of our beautiful beaches and soaking up the sun before finishing off the day with a Yoga class.
Unlimited yoga classes are included throughout your stay (Yoga Bliss offer a minimum of two yoga classes per day) feel free to attend as many as you wish. This retreat also includes one Balinese massage/spa treatment. Please book your spa treatments with Yoga Bliss one day in advance at a time that suits you.
Yoga Bliss also offers surf guiding, board rental, and additional massages on request. Please note this is an individual retreat and not a group retreat.
The Yoga Bliss retreats are individual experiences. Instead of having a group starting together on one day, Yoga Bliss have, what they like to call, Freedom Retreats. This means that you can start at any date during the year, according to your plans and Yoga Bliss availability.
This gives you the freedom to feel your own pace, tune in to what YOU want to do during the day, and attend the number of activities you would like.
When people travel like this, meeting each other on this retreat can be such a gift, and suddenly, without you knowing it, you may find yourself surrounding buy people to share this journey with.

Gwen is the founder of Yoga Bliss and one of the lead teachers. She took her first yoga class more than a decade ago and began to teach following the request of her teachers. Her pratice varies from Ashtanga to Restorative or Vinyasa. She has studied Ashtanga Yoga, Yoga Anatomy, Yoga Philosophy and Restorative Yoga in France, Mysore (India), and Indonesia with world-renowned teachers as Monica Gauci, Gregor Maehle, Laruga Glaser, Judith Hanson-Lasater, Lizzie Lasater, Cyndi Lee and many others. Her teaching style combines a strong emphasis on traditional Yoga with the needs of each individual.
With more than a decade of practice and teaching experience, Lisa was initially drawn to yoga through asana. But as she evolved, so did her practice. From building power and strength with Ashtanga and Power Yoga - to the more subtle, mindful practices of Yin Yoga and Meditation. She believes that a “one pose fits all” approach has no place in yoga and as such, her teaching is focused on meeting students where they are at, in the present moment. When not on her mat, or engulfed in a book, she travels extensively to experience all of the amazing gifts that this life has to offer.
Merete is the retreat coordinator and one of the yoga teachers at Yoga Bliss. She has a 500 RYT from Denmark and India, and started dancing and practicing yoga for dancers 17 years ago. Merete is very open minded and will make you feel welcome and at home here on the island. She always does her best to help the people around her, and will strive to give everybody the best experience possible. In her classes, Merete combines the flow and aesthetic from dance, so the practice becomes light, weightless and airy. She specializes in Vinyasa Flow and always invites all levels onto the mat.
Yoga Bliss is located on the beautiful paradise island of Lembongan, it is just 30 minutes away from Bali by fast boat. Away from the hustle and bustle of neighboring Bali, Lembongan is a must visit. It is a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, world-class surf breaks, and a chance to connect with your spiritual side on a traditional Hindu island.
As a lot of travelers say, Lembongan is like how Bali used to be 20 years ago. The main attractions of the island are diving, snorkeling, surfing, sunbathing, and yoga. The Yoga bliss shala is located in the heart of Lembongan, it is close to all commodities and only a five-minute walk to the beach.
At Yoga Bliss, they understand the importance of nutritious food as it is what keeps us energized. You choose what you eat but sometimes you lose track and it can be hard in our busy world to take care of ourselves. What you eat affects your body and your mind in a different way. During your yoga retreat with Yoga Bliss, you will have the time to explore new food, a new way of eating and cleansing.
Yoga Bliss will provide you one breakfast a day of healthy local food at the Green Garden Eco Warung, it is located on-site at Yoga Bliss, there is no MSG used in any of the food at Green Garden. At Green Garden, they have developed a nutritious and diverse menu which can cater to any dietary requirement with many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options making clean eating an easy choice. Please note it is very difficult to source organic food on Lembongan so not all of the food is organic.
You will have 2 Balinese massages at the partner spa, just a few minutes walk from Yoga Bliss as part of your package. You also have the option to add extra spa treatments if desired.
Ngurah Rai International Airport
Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). If your flight arrives before 3 p.m. Yoga Bliss can arrange a pick up for you and transfer you all the way to yoga bliss the same day. However if your flight arrives after 3 p.m., you will need to arrange a hotel in Bali that night (Yoga Bliss recommend in Kuta or Sanur) and the transfer team will pick you up for the boat the following morning. Yoga Bliss will either pick you up from the airport or from your accommodation in Bali, then transfer you to the boat to Lembongan
Lembongan is a 30-minute ride from Sanur, Bali. To get here, you may send Yoga Bliss an inquiry to organize a transfer for you. Please note if you are staying in or wish to be dropped off outside Zone 1 in Bali (Uluwatu, Ubud, Canggu etc..) there is an extra charge for the pickup or drop off service to these areas. Pick-ups and drop offs to or from the airport, Kuta, Seminyak, or Sanur are all included within the price at no additional charge.
