Join this retreat and be ready to celebrate your love for yoga and your appreciation for craft beers. Prepare yourself for days of beer drinking, outdoor adventuring, friend making, yoga bliss. Come to recharge, to make new friends, to explore Bend, to recommit to your practice, to celebrate summer. Whatever your reason, your thirst will be quenched by this refreshing retreat of fun, feel good yoga!
During this retreat, you may stay either in a single or twin room at McMenamin's Old Saint Francis School. The Old Saint Francis School, conveniently located in downtown Bend, was transformed from 1936 Catholic schoolhouse to a 2004 hotel complete with classrooms-turned-lodging rooms, a pub, a brewery, a movie theater, an event space, and a fantastic pool.
All rooms have a private bathroom, a television, and a telephone along with free Wi-Fi and free use of the mosaic tiled soaking pool. The private single room features a king-sized bed while the twin room has two queen beds. Various private single rooms offer sitting areas, pullout couches, patios, or kitchenettes.
The Old Saint Francis School honors the property's former life by featuring extensive artwork that pays homage to the history of the school and the surrounding community. Photos, memorabilia, Old Saint Francis artists' renderings and students' artwork adorn the walls, making the hotel a unique gallery of sorts. You may also want to wander around Ed House and Art House, the newly open buildings, to discover secret hallways, secret rooms, and a secret bar.
During this retreat, you will enjoy two 90-minute yoga practices on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and one 90-minute yoga practice on Sunday. All of your yoga classes will be all levels appropriate. At least one yoga class each day will be at a local Bend brewery.
Since this is a beer theme yoga holiday, your belly and your thirst will be well taken care of all weekend. All of your meals will be included, starting with dinner on Wednesday night, and continuing through lunch on Sunday. Your first beer will be included after every brewery yoga class and at each night's dinner.
Also, each day will include some free time for you to do your own adventuring and exploring. In addition, your retreat includes one morning of SUP yoga and stand-up Paddleboarding (including the board rental), a group hike, and river floating.

Yoga Alliance RYT 500 (Yoga)
Mikki obtained her 200-hour certification from YogaWorks and also has completed a teaching intensive with Strala Yoga. She is currently working towards 500-hour certifications with Yoga Medicine, YoYoYogi, and Annie Carpenter's Smart Flow. Her classes are anatomically informed and soulfully inspired and promise to be fun, flowing, and leave you feeling good. She aspires to infuse her passion for the practice, her love of music, and genuine, life-inspired musings into each class.
This retreat will be held at different breweries in Bend, Oregon in the USA. Some of the breweries you will have a yoga class at are Deschutes Brewing, Crux Fermentation Project, Worthy Brewing, McMenamins, Craft Kitchen & Brewery, with additional stops at Atlas, 10 Barrel, Boneyard, Oblivion, and Cascade Lakes.
This retreat includes three daily meals. Your meals start with dinner on Wednesday night and continue through lunch on Sunday. Your first beer is included after every brewery yoga class and at each night's dinner.
During your free time, you may relax at Old Saint Francis School, enjoy some handcrafted ales, sit in the soaking pool, take in a movie, or you may go out to explore downtown Bend and the beautiful surrounding region.
If you are a skier, Bend is the place to be in winter. Mount Bachelor offers ten alpine lines, six of them high-speed, while Hoodoo Mountain Resort offers a variety of runs and tubing for the whole family. If you are a golfer, Bend is the place to be in spring, summer, and fall. A few local options include Rivers Edge, Eagle's Crest, Lost Tracks, and Widgi Creek.
If you want to take a stroll outside, you may also head to Drake Park, called Bend's most popular outdoor gathering spot. If you want to get out and about, you may arrange for an outing with Wanderlust Tours for an additional fee. They can take you snowshoeing, cave exploring, canoeing, and much, much more.
You may book one of Wanderlust Tours' Bend Brew Bus Tours and enjoy an insiders' look at four Bend breweries and drink complimentary samples along the way. Another place you may visit is the High Desert Museum which is a critically acclaimed gallery dedicated to examining the wildlife, culture, and history of central Oregon.
You may also visit the Newberry National Volcanic Monument which offers the opportunity to drive across the top of an active volcano, or go to the gorgeous heights of Pilot Butte State Scenic Viewpoint, an old cinder cone, from where you can see panoramic views that include the high desert region and several of the Cascade peaks, such as Three Sisters, Broken Top Mountain, and Mount Jefferson.
If you want to go shopping, you may visit the charms of downtown Bend which has clothes stores, jewelry shops, shoe stores, artwork and home décor for sale, and much more. You may also take a look at the Old Mill District which has Victoria's Secret, REI, J.Jill, The Children's Place, and other stores. More retail therapy awaits at the Bend River Promenade with Macy's, TJ Maxx, and other shops.
