Firmly rooted in tradition, Yoga Adi School strives to spread the ancient sacred science of Asana, breathwork, meditations and yogic detoxification techniques within this 200-Hours Yoga Teacher Training Program. Yoga Adi is committed to promote and awaken the spiritual intent of oneself through an all-inclusive and advanced yoga teacher training. With our experienced group of teachers, we have structured a program that is intellectual and simple to implement for students through their own level of understanding.
'Madhav Residency' will be your home during the 25 nights of intended stay for the yoga teacher training course. Madhav Residency is a well-designed construction equipped with over 40 rooms backed up with power generator and Wi-Fi Internet. Each room has a private balcony with refreshing views. The rooms have a wide range from private with attached bathroom, private with non-attached bathroom, double sharing, twin sharing, private room for a couple with a double bed and attached/non-attached bathroom.
Madhav Residency is a two floored, well-ventilated building with two different rooftops and a basement. There is an in-built spa establishment where you can pamper yourself with relaxing and healing massages during the intense yoga practice. The spa offers a wide range of massages, Ayurvedic treatments, Panchakarma therapies, and Reiki sessions.
There are two yoga studios within the residency that can accommodate a group of 25 practitioners easily. The kitchen lies on the ground floor adjoined with a capacious dining hall where everyone gets together for the feasts. The dining hall has a water purifier which dispenses cold/hot/normal water.
The rooftops are the most exquisite in the early mornings to do the cleansing practices while watching the sunrise. There is also a dedicated area for laundry on the rooftop where two washing machines are placed to be used anytime you like during your stay. Yoga Adi supplies bed sheets, pillows, toilet paper, and blankets but does not provide towels nor toiletries.
Ashrams usually represent a return to a simpler way of living, which is very different to a hotel. Generally there is a more communal atmosphere and often an expectation that guests will pitch in with whatever needs doing. The ashram is also a reflection of independency, which is why no room cleaning is provided. Please take note you are expected to clean your room, do your laundry, and wash your dishes.
The program is perfect for aspiring yoga teachers as well as full-time practitioners who want to expand their yoga knowledge. This course covers Hatha and Ashtanga yoga, pranayama, yoga philosophy and anatomy, posture alignment and teaching methodology, mantra chanting, ancient styles of meditations and yogic kriyas, as well as Ayurveda and basic Panchakarma training sessions.
Yoga Adi has more than a decade of experience in teaching and healing. They offer the finest yoga teacher training with an international curriculum of 200-hours yoga teacher training.
The Ashram is the ideal destination to start your professional yoga journey and walk on your path of self-liberation. Yoga Adi's faculty presents you with the finest Yoga Gurus, Ayurvedic Doctors, and healers who are very passionate not only to teach the curriculum of the course but also the traditional approach of Yogic Science.
Yogic Philosophy is a vast subject that deepens more and more as the Yoga Sutras decodes the set-mind patterns and renews our understanding according to the Yogic lifestyle. As we dive deeper into the philosophy, Yogi Chandarkant Ji takes the privilege to elaborate ancient scripts, decrypting the Sanskrit dialectical tales which are preserved poetically without any logical distortions. Patanjali’s very first Sutra, ‘Yoga Chitti Vritti Nirodha’, intensifies with each module of this course challenging the pet habits of our mind, bringing a deep sense of self-realization.
Asana means the seat in which the witnessing consciousness observes sensation. As insight arises and ignorance passes, the state of tension is seen clearly, an obsolete cellular memory and habitual muscular holding patterns are released. Asana practice not only brings flexibility to the body, but also to the cognition of the mind. Yoga Adi enhances more on the esoteric relation to the Asana practice, in which our students are taught the science behind each Asana and how the practice of the posture reflects in one’s lifestyle.
Pranayama is the science of breathing that regulates the bio-plasmic physiology of the body and state of mind. The deeper and more aware the breathing is, the stronger the life presence becomes. Practicing and learning the breath modulation exercises unlocks advanced levels of Yogic exercises such as asana and meditation.
Meditation is a simple art of observation. The practice of meditation brings us closer to the nature of our reality and culminates all the unnecessary ideas formed in the darkness of unconsciousness. In 200-Hours YTTC, Yoga Nidra, Sufi Meditations, Vipassna, Dynamic meditations are taught and practiced daily, along with many more styles, to bring the conscious mind in communication with deepest aspects of your yoga practice.
Shatkarma means the 6 cleansing practices performed to detoxify the vital channels of the body. The science of Shatkarma works on the overall health of the body which involves intestinal purification, large intestine flush (enema), nasal and food pipe cleaning, and eyes cleansing (Trataka).
Anatomical understanding of the body is an important skill in the career of a Yoga Teacher to prevent injury, before during and after the practice. The expert Physiologist teaches the most creative therapeutic application of postures and working with the injuries and ailments.
In Sanskrit, the literal translation to the teacher is a Guru, who guides the aspirants on the path of learning. Yoga Adi’s faculty is blessed to have traditional Gurus who educate our students to always be humble yet phenomenal in the teaching practice. Under the guidance of respective faculty, students deliver their Yoga Asana sessions and get appropriate feedback to practice their skills in a safe environment.
The mudra is a spiritual mark or gesture that activates certain channels of energy throughout the subtle and physical body. The majority of mudras are performed together with Pranayama & Meditation that works as an energy catalyst. This 200-Hour YTTC curriculum offers a detailed explanation and steady practice on Mudras.
Yoga Nidra is psychic sleep, a guided meditation where the participants lay in Shavasana while the anchor takes them through layers of the cognitive state of mind and slowly drifting them into the deep euphoria.
Mantras are the Sanskrit poetry very carefully designed by the ancient seers believed to be recited in a particular manner. These mantras when recited correctly retune the breath pattern and flow of the Prana (vital energy) as per the motivation of the verse.
Dr. Yogi Chandrakant Ji is one of the lead yoga teachers at Yoga Adi, born in a Brahmin family in an ancient village named Haripurkalan situated at the confluence of the seven Ganges. At the age of eight, he was enrolled in a Sanskrit School where he learned about yoga, astrology, and Sanskrit as a language and began teaching yoga at the age of 20. His teachings refined more as he mastered himself in yoga asanas, yoga philosophy, pranayama, meditations, and Shatkarma Kriyas as well as receiving a doctorate in naturopathy.
Hari had envisioned opening up of a yoga school that presents yoga in its true essence combined with the traditional detoxification science of naturopathy. A large part of Hari Ji’s childhood was spent in serving and taking care of hundreds of sages and sadhus. Being a national level player in his youth, yoga was an essential part of his routine. However, he realized that in present times, the bodies of most people are full of emotional and other kinds of bondage, which hinders one’s growth. This led him to develop 'emotional blockage treatments as well as using naturopathy detoxification.
Manmohan Rupal Ji is a double master degree holder in human psychology, a holistic healer, a life coach, and a healing tattoo artist. Grown up under the parenthood of a naturopath father and Reiki master mother, Manmohan Ji was always inclined towards holistic healing from the young age. Along with the fusion of psychological master degrees, Manmohan Ji has specialized himself in exclusive yogic psychotherapy which is proving to be a very effective tool in yoga practices to overcome psychosomatic disorders like depression and anxiety.
