Every day will be a garland of practices, including two asana classes, pranayama, meditation, and coaching to re-ignite the passions in your life. During this retreat, you will be accommodated in a beach hut. The resort's comfortable huts made out of palm leaves, bamboo, and straw give you the necessary luxury without taxing the environment. The resort has used organic materials to create a dream of paradise. Due to the seasonal monsoon rains and a local law prohibiting any brick buildings near the beach, Lotus Yoga Retreat rebuilds their beach huts every year using local materials.
Lotus Yoga Retreat prides themselves on cleanliness, comfort, and simplicity. Less is more when it comes to living in the tropics but all huts have attached bathrooms, storage space for clothes, and comfortable beds.
The pleasant weather means you are likely to spend most of your time outdoors. Your balcony comes equipped with a hammock. It is the perfect spot for meditating, reading, or just watching the sea. You can rest assured that the nights are perfectly silent and you can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves.
Do you have a dream for your life? Something that would make your heart feel truly fulfilled that you have never been able to realize? In this retreat, you will learn a clear, potent set of skills for creating your most heartfelt dreams with grace, mastery, and beauty. It’s about following nature’s blueprint for how the manifestation process works through the energetic processes of the body and mind. The key lies in the chakras.
A chakra system is an ancient map of your energy centers that has been the foundation for millions of yoga practitioners, spiritual seekers, and healers, who have proven its validity for growth, healing, grounding, and opening to higher consciousness.
The chakra system is not only a map of your energy body though, it's also the template for creation that shows you that it is not enough to think a new idea: you need to design it, voice it, give it form, share it, empower it, enliven it, and ground it in solid plans. Get ready for a most transformative week of beauty, spontaneity, healing, and community.
This retreat will be held at Lotus Yoga Resort, a stunning yoga resort with eco-friendly accommodation in the tropical and spoiled south of Goa, India.

Goa is often called the ‘pearl of the orient’. It is full of pleasant surprises; charming little villages with colorful churches; succulent rice fields next to Hindu temples; a 100-kilometer long coastline lined with coconut palm trees.
A melting pot of different cultures, Goa is shaped by its Indian and Portuguese heritage. From 1510 until 1961, Goa was under Portuguese rule. This European influence is still evident in many houses and churches built in the typical colonial style. Goa is known for its world heritage architecture and temples. Goa is the smallest but richest state in India, with 1.3 million inhabitants living on an area of 3,702 square kilometers. It is on the south-west coast of the Indian subcontinent.

Ayurveda was developed more than 5000 years ago by highly spiritual beings and it means the knowledge of life and longevity. The aim of all Ayurvedic treatments is to bring harmony and re-establish physical, mental, and spiritual health. The treatments focus on the cause of problems to give permanent health solutions, rather than combating symptoms. The core of Ayurveda is massage using essential oils, natural herbs, and plants.
Lotus Yoga Retreat offers different forms of massage depending on the visiting specialist.
Reflexology is a relaxing treatment involving foot massage. It is based on the theory that for every part of the body there is a corresponding reflex point in the foot. All the energy meridians are represented in the feet, together with many nerve endings that relate to organs in the body. Before the massage, the patient’s feet are soaked in a foot bath with hot water and aromatherapy oils.
By massaging the feet through a form of acupressure, deposits that block the body’s energy flow are broken up. Reflexology helps the body regain its balance and contributes to good health.
Reiki literally means life force energy. It is a holistic healing method involving the laying of hands. Reiki restores energy channels, balances the chakra system, and eliminates toxins. It is an ancient treatment that was rediscovered in Japan in the 1920s.
Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing traditional Japanese healing art. It literally means finger pressure and is often referred to as a form of acupuncture without needles. Shiatsu is based on the principle that energy flows through the body through meridians. If the energy flow (ki or chi) is disrupted, then pain, irritations, anxiety, and emotional imbalances follow. Through a combination of stretches, joint rotations, and gentle pressure, Shiatsu stimulates the body’s innate healing mechanisms.
Regular therapeutic treatment can strengthen the immune system and lead to better health and well-being.

The Indian bus network is very well-developed, although the roads are often rather bumpy and this is definitely the least comfortable option for traveling. Make sure you get a sleeper bus if travelling overnight and possibly even reserve two seats if you don’t want to share your couchette with a stranger.
Buses coming from big cities (Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi) stop at Margao, so from there, you will need to get a local bus or taxi to Patnem. Some buses from the south or east (Hampi) stop at Chaudi.
Some trains stop at Chaudi station. Alternatively, you can get a train to Margao and then catch a local bus or taxi to Patnem which takes about an hour. It is advisable to book your train ticket at least a week ahead (even longer in high season).
