You will go deep into each of Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga as you build on the knowledge from your 200-hour certification.

Yandara believes that being a great yoga teacher means having a deep understanding and experience of all aspects of yoga, it is a lifestyle and a commitment to being authentically you, on and off the mat. During this immersion program, you will dive further into asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, the energetics of sequencing, meditation, and more.

Yandara’s 300-hour training is Yoga Alliance approved. They welcome all serious yogis and teachers who are interested in further study, even if you don’t intend to complete a 300-hour certification. For those who have completed a 200-hour certification program, this program offers a 500-hour registry through Yoga Alliance.

  • Prerequisite: If you intend to complete your 300-hour certification, a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate from Yandara yoga Institute, or other Yoga Alliance-approved 200-hour yoga teacher training is required.
  • Preparatory Study: A list of homework guidelines that include a book list will be sent to you upon registration, choose 5 books from 5 different categories and, it is ideal to begin your book projects prior to arrival.
  • Contact hours: 270 hours
  • Non-contact hours: 30 hours (fulfilled by home study projects)

The program is limited to 24 students ensuring personal care and attention. Graduates that have previously completed a 200-hour Yoga Alliance approved teacher training program will be eligible for the Yoga Alliance 500-hour Yoga Teacher Registry.

This program offers you to complete all your 300 hours in one go. This 28-day advanced program follows the eight limbs of yoga and is focused on the advanced techniques and sequencing of traditional Hatha yoga, Vinyasa yoga, pranayama and meditation. You also explore other areas of study, such as Kundalini yoga, Bhakti yoga and ayurveda. A strong focus is on offering personal feedback for you to evolve your teaching skills and become the best teacher you can be.

With this in mind, you continue to unravel the 3 parts that make up a living yoga practice:

  • Sadhana/conscious practices (body)
  • Philosophy/study of yogic texts (mind)
  • Bhakti/cultivation of love (heart)

Through the combination of these three elements, the alchemical body-mind-heart transformation that Yandara is known for will be created.
