Overview

The Sweden YTT is located at an intimate retreat center in the middle of the idyllic Swedish forest. Surrounded by calm lakes and fields of wild blueberries, you gather for 18 days of heartfelt yoga and meditation, delicious vegetarian meals, evenings in the floating sauna, and yogic philosophy around the campfire.

You will get all the tools you need to create an inspiring yoga class and establish your own meditation practice. Even if you don’t plan to teach yoga professionally, completing a teacher training will deepen your physical, mental, and spiritual practice. This program is open to all ages and all levels of ability.

Yandara is one of Yoga Alliance’s most successful yoga teacher training schools, with over 5,000 graduates since 2004 and one of the highest-rated schools at Yoga Alliance. Yandara offers over twenty trainings throughout the year in several different areas of focused study.

During this yoga teacher training, you will practice a non-denominational style of yoga instruction, comprised of the strengths of selected yoga lineages including Yin yoga, Vinyasa flow yoga, Dharma yoga, and Iyengar yoga. Throughout your yoga teacher training, you will receive guidance on how to establish yourself as a professional yoga teacher.

Classes on the business of yoga are included in the curriculum, as is ongoing support. The residential retreat-style program is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified program. The foundation of each yoga teacher training program is based on the heart-centered Vinyasa flow sequences. The curriculum of this training will enable you to formulate and nurture your teaching style.
