For this training, you can choose to stay in the tents provided or bring your own tent. The majority of yogis that attend Yandara Yoga Institute's teacher training choose to stay in the deluxe tents. These are big tents that most people are able to stand up in. Each tent has a normal twin size bed and mattress, a small set of drawers, and a lamp.

Bed linens are provided, but bath towel will not be provided. The tents are comfortable and yet still close to nature as Yandara Yoga Institute would like to call it luxury camping. For couples, a larger tent with a larger bed can be offered. Yandara Yoga Institute has 6 bathrooms and 5 showers on the campus.

In Mexico, the facility is comfortable but rustic, emphasizing outdoor living including a large enclosed yoga pavilion, flush toilets, and hot water shower facilities, kitchen, and dining area.

Program

This course is 100 hours of the 300 hours needed for a 500-hour certification (100-hour toward 500-hour certification). Yandara's Bhakti and mantra training is an elective part of their 300-hour teacher training program. You are also welcome to attend just this module as a regenerative retreat or continuing education course. During these days, you will explore the practices and philosophy of Bhakti yoga and the art of mantra.

This retreat-style training will be healing and nurturing for the body, mind, and heart. You will prioritize the cultivation of a calmer state of being through daily regenerative practices and activities. During this training, you will receive personal instruction on how to play Indian Bhakti yoga instruments such as harmonium, sitar, tamboura, shruti box, drums, and kartals. The instruments will be provided or you can bring your own. If you enjoy playing guitar, bring it and learn how to play mantras / kirtans.

Learn how Bhakti develops in the yogic tradition, participate in study groups to discuss, and apply the wisdom from ancient yogic texts such as the Bhagavad Gita, Narada's Bhakti Sutras, and the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra. Learn and share mythological stories about gods and goddesses and find out about the origin and stories behind many of the mantras and asanas. Become familiar with the Bhakti yogis of India such as Ananda Mayi Ma, Sri Caitanya, and the wandering mystic Mirabai.

Heal and unravel your heart's radiant nature. Bhakti is the world of overflowing love, yoga's sweetest path to enlightenment. Through Ishvarapranidhana, love, and reverence for the essence of life, Yandara Yoga Institute looks forward to supporting you in your individual expression of Bhakti yoga.
