This retreat is designed to give you a profound experience of all aspects of yoga. Through the practice of asanas, meditation, and Xhale Yoga Pai's diet program, you will gain flexibility and strength as well as learn to relax under stressful situations. You will return to your homeland with harmony and balance in your mind and body; cleaner, clearer, lighter, rejuvenated, and enthused. Whether you are an experienced or a beginner student, this is an opportunity to deepen and further your practice or to begin practicing yoga properly. You will gain confidence to develop your own yoga practice and bring a breathing awareness to apply to your daily life.
During this retreat, you will be staying in one of Xhale Yoga Pai's rooms.
Xhale Yoga Pai has a limited number of single rooms available, upon a first-come, first-serve basis.
This room has two queen beds and is limited for two participants. Xhale Yoga Pai sensitively arranges the room pairing upon the same request and/or same gender.
There are four spots available for this spacious room with four queen beds and an attached shower room.
Enjoy the daily Hatha flow classes, suitable for all levels, each morning. Fluid sequencing of postures, linked with breath revitalization and rejuvenation to the physical body, breath, and mind. You will aspire to liberate yourself from trying to attain an ideal, which ultimately allows you to connect with your deeper needs to create your own personal yoga practice with your true nature.
Afternoon classes will unwind with a more gentle Yin poses that focus on healing and letting go. Both morning and afternoon sequenced asana classes are designed to nourish and create more space to allow the energy flow and purposely, to help you develop your own personal practice after you leave the retreat.
This retreat will address such topics as healthy diets and eating patterns, daily routines that promote mental and emotional peace, communication patterns that foster experiments to promote understanding, and simple living that nurtures balance and self-healing within each moment.
Variations of breathing techniques will reliably produce the benefits of physical well-being. By practicing regularly, breath work will help promote natural breath to go deeper, smoother, longer, therefore, improving energy-wise
This schedule is based on full retreat days, excluding the arrival and departure days. The first session on the first day will be on 3 p.m., for the orientation as well as yoga practice. You will end the first day with a group dinner. The last session will be on 1 p.m. on the fifth day. This will be continued with a guiding session to sum up what you have learnt and how to keep up with a self-practice after you finish the retreat.

Bhud has been a yoga practitioner for more than 25 years and sharing her experience of yoga in many of its various forms with students for over 10 years. For her, yoga is a fundamental guiding toward self-love and holistic yogic living. Her focus of teaching includes ways of bringing more awareness to what is happening inside you as you practice, which encourages the body to unravel into yoga positions from within, rather than having to be pushed or pulled into them from without. Therefore, the body creates least tension and effort.
The retreat will be held in Pai, which is only a few hours from Chiang Mai, North Thailand. A beautiful yet incredibly tiny mountain town enveloped in a natural setting that has a fresh and relaxed atmosphere. Pai has an easygoing atmosphere and is multi-cultural with the Karen, Hmong, Lisu, and Lahu tribes, that have blended together to form a unique set of cultural traditions. Pai also has many activities to offer, like trekking, mountain biking, tubing in the river Pai, hot springs, Pai canyon, and many popular waterfalls. This small town also offers a vibrant art and music culture that can be seen and heard as you walk around Pai’s small downtown area.

You will be served with three vegetarian meals daily, along with morning chai tea, all day herbal tea, drinking water, and energy shakes. Since diet is one of Xhale Yoga Pai's major concerns, they want to create foods according to what your body needs. Their diet are not only vegetarian but moreover, they are concerned in how they process their food with a maximum nutritionally balanced alkaline, locally grown, fresh picked, tropical fruits, sprouts, nuts, and seeds prepared in simple yet delicious and healthy recipes, served in modest proportions.
Xhale Yoga Pai can cater for just about any special diet, gluten-free, non-dairy products or other allergies, but please let them know in advance so they can stock up on what they will need to feed you well.
