Join this weekend Dartmoor trail running and yoga vamp. You can learn from a former elite distance and top trail runner, to go off piste and be fully immersed in the rugged landscape of Dartmoor. Wild Running wants you to feel inspired, reinvigorated, and elated at having completed this fun weekend. The camp will be led by a former junior national champion, adventure writer, and mountain leader; Ceri Rees and another of the qualified, personable guides.
Guests staying in The Cottages at Blackadon Farm enjoy the unrivalled peace, tranquillity, and timeless beauty of the wonderful setting on the southern boundary of Dartmoor National Park. They’re also a short distance from some of Devon’s most beautiful beaches and attractions. So, whether you want to walk directly onto the moor, spend a day at the beach or soak up some culture, Blackadon offers a wonderful location.
They have a range of stylish and newly refurbished self catering lets. Choose from luxury smaller cottages through to large group accommodation with en-suites that can sleep up to 30 and have great spaces for socialising. If you don’t fancy cooking, they can arrange for a chef to prepare tasty meals. They’ve installed super fast fibre broadband so you can share pictures with your friends to make them wish they were with you.
Blackadon Farm has perfect holiday lets whether you’re looking for a romantic hideaway or want to get away from it all with family or friends. Well behaved four legged friends are welcome. Groups can reserve the whole place for weddings, celebrations, family gatherings, team offsites, retreats, and sporting trips.

Wild Running can collect you from Ivybridge Station for free or from Totnes or Plymouth upon request (for a 10 GBP supplement) or they will give you directions to the camp, which is easily accessible from the A38 near Plymouth.
They aim to do an ice breaker limb loosening run of between 4 and 5 miles at around 5:30 p.m. for anyone who is able to arrive by then. From 7 to 7:30 p.m., enjoy an evening meal cooked by the staff.
There will be a bed time story with Ceri. He will talk about his experience of living with Kipchohe Keino, double Olympic champion at his orphanage in Kenya as a teenager and his experience of befriending and training with Zimbabwe’s top distance runner and asylum seeker Williard Chinanhu and how his attitude to running informed his life. Take the rest of the time to relax and bed in.
Running library: There are a great selection of books, magazines, and videos; which will probably have you squeezing in late night reading sessions!
Choose to stay another night if you like or Wild Running can take you to Ivybridge station free of charge.
Zoe will be leading the morning yoga class to energize, strengthen, and stretch.
Ceri Rees is the founder of Wild Running Ltd and event director for the Something Wild Trail Running Festival and the Wild Dart Swim and co-organiser of the Wild Night Run Series and director of Something Wild Events. He is a Qualified Mountain Leader (Summer), an experienced teacher, navigation instructor and running guide, outdoor first aid qualified, and former member of UK Endurance Squad and ex-International athlete. He is four times winner of The Grizzly, three national junior cross country titles and winner of several regional and national events.
You will be served with daily three homecooked meals.
You will be picked from Exeter Station or from Totnes for an additional price of 10 GBP per person. Alternatively, you will be given directions to the camp, which is easily accessible from the M5 or A38 near Exeter or the A30. Transport to and from the camp to Ivybridge is included.
