Come and join Wild Atlantic Way Yoga's 'Autumn Colours' weekend yoga retreat in Cork, Ireland, where you will wake up by the sea, fill your lungs with the fresh air of the Atlantic Ocean, and immerse yourself in the energizing and relaxing teachings of Marion Buechner.
During the retreat, guests will enjoy the unforgettable experience of a traditional Irish Farmhouse with beautiful views of the famous "Old Head" and of course the Atlantic Ocean.
While immersing yourself in your yoga practice, you will be looking out at the Atlantic Ocean while enjoying the intimate setting of only eight guests. There are four double or twin bedrooms and two bathrooms that the majority of guests will be sharing. The four rooms are allocated upon arrival, and will accommodate two people each. Private rooms are subject to availability for a supplement of 55 EUR.
Leave behind the long and warm days of summer and slowly prepare for the more quiet and colourful days of autumn. With the autumn equinox just behind where day and night are of equal length, we are reminded again to balance all parts of ourselves, the active and the passive, the known and the unknown, our outer journey as well as our inner journey, the conscious and the unconscious.
This is a weekend yoga retreat led by Marion Buechner and will focus on reducing everyday stresses which affect the emotional well-being. The retreat is mixed level.
You will arrive on Friday at 4:30 p.m. In the evening, there will be a gentle Vinyasa flow session, ending with a sweet and nourishing Yin practice and evening meditation or yoga Nidra.
Saturday begins with a morning mediation or pranayama session, followed by an energizing Vinyasa flow practice. In the evening, there will be a nourishing Yin practice and evening meditation session.
On Sunday morning, you will enjoy a meditation / pranayama class, followed by a calming Yin practice, moving slowly into the flowing and active part of the practice.
The retreat program is located in Old Head of Kinsale, Cork, Ireland. The place overlooks the Atlantic Ocean where you can see many beautiful sandy beaches in the vicinity.

Wild Atlantic Way Yoga takes their food very seriously, so seriously in fact that Shirley (the owner) did her primary degree in Food Science! They will serve up wholesome, nourishing vegetarian options throughout the weekend. Food will be two mains meals per day, brunch and dinner. Snacks will be served throughout the weekend.
Charles Fort is a star-shaped military fortress constructed between 1677 and 1682 to protect to town and harbor of Kinsale. It was built on the site of an earlier stronghold known as Ringcurran Castle, which featured prominently during the Siege of Kinsale in 1601. This is the right place to explore the history and make your life history.
In your free time, it is never wrong dare trying watersports, such as surfing, windsurfing, sea kayaking, to more gentle activities such as pottery classes, and cooking classes.

Visitors to Kinsale are captivated by its beautiful setting, its long waterfront yacht-filled harbor, narrow winding streets and brightly painted galleries, shops, cafes, and restaurants.
There are lovely secluded beaches within walking distance from the house. The beautiful sandy beaches of Garretson are only three miles from Wild Atlantic Wild Yoga and if you are lucky or brave, Shirley will be there with her mobile sauna.
Wild Atlantic Way Yoga can arrange massage treatments on site upon request with a 24-hour notice at an extra cost.
You can choose to arrive at Cork Airport (ORK). Wild Atlantic Way Yoga recommends you to come with a taxi directly from the airport to the retreat location. They will also help organize transport to and from the retreat location using a taxi for 40 EUR from Cork Airport or 45 EUR from Cork City.
