Enjoy the eco-adventure bungalows with comfortable accommodations on a private island voted as one of the best remote island in the Caye.

Each accommodation has eco-toilets and local ingredients restaurant with local flair, along with all adventure equipment for island activities included.

There will be no Wi-Fi on adventure island, so you will get your much needed digital detox, plus true transformation. Comfortable amenities and nutritional menu are included.

Sea view bungalows are comfortable with showers separate from rooms including a shaving and wash station, supplied with fresh, running rainwater, all powered by solar power.

Composting toilets complete the ecologically friendly set-up. The composting toilet building was featured on the cover of Outside Magazine! As an eco-resort, they flush nothing into the sea.

You will be pampered with nutritional meals including local ingredients and flair, daily yoga and meditation, along with group sessions and ceremonies to set and break boundaries and access your best mind-body connection.

Enjoy a view overlooking the Caribbean, and full days of kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, kite boarding, snorkeling, exploring caves, and rappelling. This is your complete adventure wellness in a private getaway with daily outings, daily yoga, and daily adventure focused on your personal transformation.

Renew and rejuvenate with your retreat host and Wild Adventure founder Liz Galloway, with 20 years in wellness coaching, fitness, and travel. She is also an outdoor guide, helicopter pilot, and advocate for nuero-physiology connections that access the body and brain. Additional therapists, fit experts, and motivational speakers are often invited as a surprise guest as a bonus!

Experience five decadent days in nature with daily yoga, cardio, fitness, adventure and nature, and play while you immerse yourselves in the local culture. This retreat caters to all levels of fitness with targeted workshops, workbooks, classes, nutrition, and giving back with the cultural impact partners.

DAY 1: TUESDAY

Welcome to Belize, as you arrive at the Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) where one of the guides will meet you for transport to the private island. The short drive and then private boat ride gives you time to soak in the beauty and meet your adventure peers. Once you’re settled into your room or meet your roommate (double occupancy), you will be welcomed, so grab your welcome packet and join Wild Adventure Retreats for a healthy drink, cocktail, or jet lag boost of your choice.

Your hosts will provide your itinerary for the week with goal setting and mingling. As the evening winds down, you will join in an intimate group dinner. End the night at your leisure or join your skilled host in a restore yoga session and guided meditation and cleansing ceremony to open the week and to close the evening.

DAY 2: WEDNESDAY

Your days start at 7 a.m. with daily yoga classes lead by expert wellness coaches and yogis. Belizian breakfast and coffee kicks off your day, as you decide your small group activity for the day. Choose private access to snorkel spots and other atoll reefs by kayak or paddle board. Are you into kite surfing or jumping on the waves? Don't worry! As the expert guides are waiting to give you lessons on the beach.

Take the afternoon to catch up on rest, enjoy a group lunch, and join in the HIIT cardio class to take you to the next level. Each day, you will be wrapped up in adventure and rustic luxury. Take time for yourself to journal and set your week's goals and boundaries to break.

The structured fitness retreat will have you burning serious calories each day doing a variety of classes suited for your level. Wild Adventure Retreats focuses on giving alternatives to work at your level. Don’t worry if you haven’t exercised for a while, as they will modify your program to fit your ability both in fitness and your outdoor adventures. The support team is here for all access.

Get back out there in the water for another afternoon activity before the afternoon takes you to your evening and healthy group dinner with goal setting discussions. Rest, socialize, or head to bed to prep for the rest of the week.

DAY 3: THURSDAY

Join in the daily morning yoga session or take time for yourself to start your day. Daily coffee and tea is open for all and breakfast will power you up. Today, you kick off kayaking rescue testing and set out on a group expedition paddle.

After lunch, you will power up with a core cardio class and get in tune with your physical / mental connections. You will review your goal setting workbooks and group discussion before having the afternoon to play on the beach or ocean with an all-access pass to ocean gear.

Enjoy your peers during social time or optional afternoon outing and go on to the healthy inspired group dinner. After dinner, grab your journal and focus on your goal setting topics. Not ready for bed yet? Join in the wind down Vinyasa flow before you retire to bed. Optional guided meditation is offered.

DAY 4: FRIDAY

After morning yoga and breakfast, you jump back into adventure. After all, it's adventure island. A morning diving course is offered and you can take your first or tenth dive. If you'd rather coast along the turquoise waters in a kayak, the group then sets off to explore Middle Caye.

A five-mile paddle takes you to the Marine Research Center with working marine biologists. You can take time to explore, snorkel, fish (fishing license provided), and take in some beach time. You paddle back just in time for lunch and a leisurely afternoon.

Take the afternoon to explore, relax, or take an optional outing but make sure not to miss the daily fitness coaching with the core power class to focus on your strength.

After the traditional Belizian dinner, you end the evening with a short guided meditation ceremony to prep you for transformation. You hold your final space for group guided meditation and soul sessions, and the rest of the evening is up to your heart’s desire. Don’t forget to pack for tomorrow’s departure.

DAY 5: SATURDAY

Your private yoga session and morning wake up awaits you once again, with a power packed breakfast. Your morning Vinyasa class will prep you for your day, wind down the week, and get you set for travel.

You review your goal setting checklist and boundary breaking progress and finish with a closing ceremony to mark your adventure travels and hard work on fitness and wellness connections.

You have a bit of time to fit in one last wind surf, kite surf, snorkel, or paddle before you prepare to depart. Your group boat transport awaits to return you to Belize City, where you will be dropped at a local hotel, for one night. You will meet for a final group dinner and closing celebration with local entertainment and socializing.

You will have time to reflect and note the journey you've taken and the tools you have ready for your daily life. If you’ve arranged for an extended stay or other options, please let Wild Adventure Retreats know, as your transfers will be on your own at that time.

Included excursions

The retreat includes all sports gears for kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding, surfing, wind surfing, and other outdoor options. Park entrance fees and fishing licenses are also included. There will also be sports instructions and guided activities.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 24% of the total price.
  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 90 days before the arrival date.
