Join Wild Adventure Retreats for a wild adventure in San Miguel de Allende, for five targeted days for a healing FitAction getaway. You will spend five days strengthening and lengthening your body and mind with your wellness coach by your side. This is a fitness-focused getaway to get connected to yourself, power up, and return to healthy perspectives with real tools and support.
There are no extra purchases required and we’ve thought of everything, even a few extras like cooking classes, kayaking, cultural walks, inspiring speakers and fitness trainer, and visits to private local charity experiences to teach yoga to local children. Wild Adventure Retreats cater to all levels of fitness with targeted workshops, workbooks, classes, nutrition, and give back with the cultural impact partners.
Welcome to Mexico, arrive at the Leon International airport where one of Wild Adventure Retreats guides will meet you for transport to their country home. The 45 to 60 minutes drive is by van with your peers in comfort where you can relax, prepare, or sleep.
Once you’re settled into your room or meet your roommate (double occupancy) you will be welcomed, grab your welcome packet and join Wild Adventure Retreats for a healthy drink, cocktail, or jet lag boost of your choice. Your hosts will provide your itinerary for the week with goal setting and mingling.
As the evening winds down, you will join in an intimate group dinner. End the night at your leisure or join Wild Adventure Retreats skilled host in a Restorative yoga session and guided meditation and cleansing ceremony to open the week and to close the evening.
Your days start at 7 a.m. with daily yoga classes lead by expert wellness coach, Liz Galloway. Coffee and tea ready to go daily, bright and early, followed by daily breakfast. You will begin the week immersed in local culture with a cultural city walk and historical town visit. Take time for yourself for journaling - set your week goals and boundaries to break.
Rest up before your afternoon circuit training class to pump up the heart rate and motivate change. Wild Adventure Retreats structured fitness retreat will have you burning serious calories each day doing a variety of classes suited for your level. They focus on giving alternatives to work at your level.
Don’t worry if you haven’t exercised for a while, Wild Adventure Retreats will modify your program to fit your ability. Cardiovascular training, strength training, balance, stability, stretching, and flexibility will all be a part of your program. A leisurely afternoon takes you to your evening, and healthy group dinner with goal setting discussions, rest, socialize or head to bed to prep for a full week.
Join in a daily morning yoga session or take time for yourself to start your day. Daily coffee, tea is open, and breakfast will power you up. Today you will slow down to get in tune with your physical and mental connections. You will review the local community and immersion into local culture with a cooking class and tasting.
Embrace local simplicities, nature, and culture in San Miguel, renowned for its Spanish and Gothic architecture, creative cuisine, artistic talents, along with its sustainable living and give back in this enchanting city. Take it slow this morning as you work on goals and focus on healthy workshop sessions. Enjoy a light healthy lunch before you depart prep for your daily fitness and HIIT training.
Enjoy your peers during social time, an optional afternoon outing, and on to our healthy inspired group dinner. After dinner, grab your journal and focus on your goal setting topics. Not ready for bed yet? Join in Wild Adventure Retreats wind down Vinyasa yoga flow before you retire to bed.
After morning yoga and breakfast, you will jump into your nature outing to kayak in local lakes. Wild Adventure Retreats group transport is waiting to take you on your private tour. You will return in time for lunch and the afternoon wellness workshop sessions. Take the afternoon to explore, relax, or take an optional outing but make sure not to miss your daily fitness coaching with your core power class to focus on your strength.
You will spend time in the local village teaching yoga to pre-schoolers and sharing with the local charity we've partnered with. Find out more about giving back and travel with an impact during your session or charity and play. After the charity program, you'll return to the private country reserve or enjoy cocktail hour and enjoy a healthy group dinner with goal setting discussions.
At the end of the evening, you will have a short guided meditation ceremony to prep you for transformation. Wild Adventure Retreats will hold the final space for group guided meditation and soul sessions, and the rest of the evening is up to your heart's desire. Don't forget to pack for tomorrow's departure.
Your private yoga session and morning wake up awaits you once again, with a power-packed breakfast. Your morning Vinyasa class with the prep you for your day, wind down the week, and get you set for travel. You will review your goal setting checklist and boundary breaking progress and finish with a closing ceremony to mark your cultural travels and hard work on fitness and wellness connections.
The group van awaits to return you to Leon airport, so sit back and relax, reflect and note the journey you've taken and the tools you have ready for your daily life.
