If you are looking for a place to unwind, Why Retreat is your perfect slice of paradise. Wake up to a symphony of birdsong, sunrise over a skyline of rocky spires, and a panoramic view of the bay. The scenery from your own private deck is constantly changing as the tide ebbs and flows across the sandbank, and lighting plays on the rocks of the mountain. You will never be tired of this palette of colors and textures. A stream with native bush provides a spot for secluded meditation. Healthy meals, daytime or evening yoga classes, access to personal training, massage, reiki treatments, hiking and swimming complete your relaxation.

Arrival in the afternoon
18.00 Yoga Classes.
Begin with morning mediation by a secluded stream or simply enjoy a delicious breakfast. Attend a yoga session at 08.30 or 09.30 in the morning and then enjoy the peace and tranquility of the area, go for a hike or a swim. A packed lunch can be arranged. Dinner will be available at 19.00.
Morning meditation can be followed by breakfast then the day is yours. Again, a packed lunch can be provided. Yoga begins at 18.00 and will be followed by a late supper.

A car is recommended to fully explore the area. Drive along the waters edge to scenic Whangarei Heads, 2.5 hours north of Auckland, just 30 minutes from central Whangarei, or 20 minutes from Whangarei Airport.
