With only 14 rooms, Faasai Resort & Spa has a spacious and peaceful atmosphere where you can experience the delights of nature from the comfort of your own terrace. Every room has a view, and you can choose from private or shared (twin or double) accommodation.

Faasai Resort & Spa only has two twin rooms. If you are travelling with a friend and book separately, let Whole & Happy Retreat know you would like to share a room and they will arrange for you. Yoga and meditation sessions will take place under the bodhi tree, on the grass, beside the swimming pool, and on the beach.

This is about moving forward, about uncovering the innate and detailed layers of your beautiful self on a journey of discovery and self-exploration. This is about getting your glow on, and becoming whole again.

This is not your average yoga retreat, because you’re no average human. You are an intricate, complex individual. Whole & Happy Retreat understands your individuality and believe like-minded individuals can come together to create the whole. This retreat focuses on embracing individuality in a family-style, small group setting. To truly relax and reap the benefits of this retreat, you need to feel right at home. That's what this is all about, and Whole & Happy Retreat hopes you will feel safe, supported and free to express yourself throughout your retreat.

Over seven days, you start to sink into each moment, letting go of your worries and reshuffling your priorities so that your health and well-being come on top of the list. Your co-retreaters become your family, your rustic bungalow your home, and your yoga mat your temple. A balance of energizing and restorative practices, nourishing simple food, good company, beautiful surroundings and supportive staff ensures you leave feeling more whole, and more balanced. Beginners and experienced yoga practitioners are welcome for this retreat.

Schedule

Treat the following schedule as a rough guideline. Changes may be made to the schedule due to weather conditions. Whole & Happy Retreat also likes to leave a little room for spontaneity and going with the flow. If your group energy is a little lower, you may choose a restorative session over a power flow and a walk on the beach instead of a hike up a hill.

Each full day includes a morning and evening practice, two wholesome meals, a group activity or excursion, and time for rest and relaxation. The evening activities in this schedule include games night, star gazing / fire ceremony, dance meditation, Thai cooking workshop, and sunset on the beach.

Throughout the retreat, you have included excursions such as trips to eco-farm, local markets and salt farm, the local village, and temples and beach for yoga and meditation outside the resort. You can also have a cycle trip to lookout points.

Whole & Happy Retreat encourages you to immerse yourself fully in the yoga and meditation program, and these included excursions are aligned with the theme of this retreat, developing wholeness and balance.

    Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Hatha Yoga)

    Rosie is a yoga teacher and thai massage therapist, and has spent the past five years travelling and teaching in the yoga and wellness industry internationally. She offers a Hatha flow style of yoga with a strong focus on the breath and awareness so that each practice becomes a meditation in motion. Her personal practice is based on self-love and building harmony between all the little parts of herself through a balance of energizing and restorative practices. Having seen in herself the transformative powers of yoga, she believes it can bring a little more sunshine into everyone's life.

  • Natasha Kochan

    Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Ashtanga Yoga)

    Natasha hails from Canada and has spent the past year traveling, studying, and teaching yoga, as well as discovering a love for the practice that has transformed her life. She believes that yoga is a practice both on and off the mat. She aims to cultivate an awareness of mindfulness, presence, and gratitude through her yoga teachings and online blog posts at Gypsy Glitter Soul. Having been both a guest and teacher on yoga retreats around the world, Natasha believes in the positive, life-altering benefits of this practice, and is excited to share her light and love with you.

This retreat will take place at Faasai Resort & Spa in Thailand. This is an eco-resort, committed to preserving the environment and supporting the local community, through growing or sourcing its food locally, employing local people, and embracing the beauty of the resort’s natural surroundings.

Five minutes from the beach and the Fisherman’s Village, you are also surrounded by the mountains and the soothing sounds of nature. This is a perfect place for you to hit the reset button, clear the slate, and leave feeling refreshed, revitalized, and whole again.

Your retreat includes hearty, vegetarian meals using locally sourced and home-grown ingredients wherever possible. Faasai Resort & Spa is an eco-friendly resort with a strong focus on sustainability and organic farming, producing peanuts, rice, fruit, vegetables, and more. You will be served twice daily farm-to-table meals (a hearty brunch and family-style dinner).

Meals are served family style and you will eat together as a community with good conversation and laughter. Whole & Happy Retreat can accommodate special dietary requests with advance notice.

Arrival by airplane

The closest international airport is Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) or Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Please do not purchase your flight tickets before you receive a confirmation about availability from Whole & Happy Retreat. From those airports, it is a 3-4 hour bus ride to Chanthaburi, where Whole & Happy Retreat can meet you transfer to the resort at an additional cost. Whole & Happy Retreat can also arrange pickups from Rayong or Trat on request.
